We arrived early in Rome and couldn’t pickup our rental car, so we decided to check out Fiumicino and picked La Taverna Vecchia because of its seafood reviews. The family welcomed us, despite being closed in preparation for dinner, allowing us to sit on their spacious outdoor patio. We enjoyed a lovely dinner — cacio e pepe and seafood risotto — and the matron of the restaurant kindly helped us return to the airport. Absolutely lovely service. Thank you!

Beautiful experience. top staff, very kind and very efficient. Super good dishes. top quality/price ratio. Generous portions and ok wine. I highly recommend it. I hope to be able to return soon

Good meal, mushroom fettucini and excellent Amatriciana pasta. Really very good. Friendly staff with some knowledge of English. However tiramisu not worthy of great Italian cuisine, hard biscuit and inedible running cream. Damage...

23/11/2024: Nice place with parking underneath. friendly staff. big problem with the pizza: knowing that the Roman version has been introduced we wanted to get that. we arrive at the second shift (9.30pm) and the Roman dough was finished, communicated by the waitress after ordering and eating the appetizers. a cover charge is expected. sweets a little expensive.
