Sunday lunch... Excellent food, fantastic location with a perfect ambiance. Friendly and fast staff, they welcome you cheerfully and speak Roman dialect, and I love it!! I must say, you immediately feel at ease. Even my little dog was pampered and ended up with a piece of guanciale (cheek bacon), hahahaha. Generous portions with tasty and well-executed recipes. The tiramisu is a real treat. In short, a highly recommended place, we'll definitely be back. A little gift upon arrival immediately puts a smile on your face. It felt like being in Rome, good typical Roman dishes and generous portions

What can I say? Finding yourself in Brianza and suddenly entering and finding yourself in Rome. I've said it all!

We went to Taverna di Rugantino in Lurago d'Erba for lunch last Sunday, and I have to say we had a really good time! The staff is incredibly friendly—and a special mention goes to Andrea, with his unmistakable Roman accent... he's just too friendly! The atmosphere is very refined, with the option of eating both inside (air-conditioned, excellent choice in the heat!) and outside. We sampled several appetizers, ordering a couple of portions of just a few dishes (not all), but in hindsight, one portion per person would have been enough to get through the rest of the meal: the portions are truly generous! For the main courses, each person ordered just one course, avoiding pairing a first and second course in the first place, but despite this... we left stuffed, without even managing to try dessert! One thing I would improve: the main courses arrived immediately after the appetizers were cleared away. A little break between courses would have been much appreciated. The Brut wine we drank as an appetizer, as well as the organic red we chose to accompany our meal, were both excellent! At the entrance, they even left us a cute, fun, and original gift, perfectly in keeping with the spirit of the place! We'll gladly return, perhaps with a more "moderate" approach... and room for dessert!

The atmosphere was very friendly, as were the staff. The food was honestly average.

Finally, a Roman restaurant where cacio e pepe isn't an insult to tradition but a declaration of love. Quick service, friendly and lively waiters (yes, they exist!). Fair price: eat well, laugh, and your wallet won't bleed. In any case, top marks.

Un vero angolo di Roma lontano da Roma. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo e, più importante ancora, lo staff è veramente simpatico e preparato. Cibo ottimo, prezzi ottimi, locale bello e molto "vero" nella sua identità romana. Ce lo avevano consigliato degli amici e siamo felicissimi di essere finalmente riusciti ad andarci. Torneremo senz'altro presto(e spesso).

Locale dal servizio cortese, cibo ottimo e porzioni super. Impossibile uscire affamati. Inoltre sono stati davvero molto cortesi perché, a causa di un incidente in strada, siamo arrivati in ritardo, ma il nostro tavolo è sempre stato lì ad attenderci ( ovviamente noi avevamo avvisato del ritardo). Consiglio di proporre doggy bag per portare via quello che avanza, dato che le porzioni sono davvero abbondanti.
