Positive aspects: welcoming environment, friendly and fast staff, tasty dishes. It feels a bit like being at a friend's house. Things that could be improved: considering that it is winter, the veranda is a little too cool, especially at the beginning of the evening. Unfortunately, Roman-sized pasta tends to cool before you can finish it😁. Is it the fault of the pan it was served in? The "normal" portion, served on the plate, remained hot until the end. The carbonara, both classic and with pistachio, was very good but too al dente. I think the problem lies in the type of pasta (mezzi maccheroni, or mezze sleeves, each brand has a different name...). Not bad, almost all of it was eaten, but with a couple more minutes of cooking, it would have been perfect👌. For the rest, the bucatini all'amatriciana is good, the appetizers tris cafone and porpetta de boiled are good, the artichoke alla giudia is very tasty, the lamb is excellent! The roasted potatoes were very tasty and even though it took me a while to finish the lamb 😅, they remained hot until the end. I think it is thanks to the bowl in which they were served. The artichoke bitters (or grappa?) are also good. I would recommend it as an alternative to the usual pizzerias, for a slightly different dinner. Would I go back? Well, maybe not yet on a Saturday evening, but I would like to taste the whole artichoke alla giudia, instead of stealing it from my husband, and try what we didn't order. I'm afraid I'll never get to the desserts, but never mind😊

We often come to the Taverna, the quality is always excellent even after years. On Mondays there is the Roman you can eat, we tried it and I must say it's an excellent idea! This way at least you can try more dishes but obviously with a slightly smaller portion! The staff is always wonderful, but a special thanks to a girl who looked after us, Matilda! Very sweet, polite and truly in love with her job! Long live the guys who always have a smile! Thanks for everything! Simona and Nicolò

Great food and friendly, helpful staff

Great place to dine with friends. Welcoming atmosphere, helpful and attentive staff to any needs at the table. We went on Monday evening for the all you can eat and everything went very well. Porchetta meatballs and super porchetta!!

Già dall'accoglienza capisci di essere quasi a casa .... La prima persona che vedi è un centurione Romano (si fa per dire) simpatico e gentile ( essendo arrivato al ristorante in anticipo ho avuto il piacere di parlare con lui della stupenda Roma) come del resto gli altri ragazzi che ci hanno servito. Si cena con pietanze tipiche romane, io dopo un ottimo antipasto ho preso una amatriciana che era uno spettacolo ... Un buon vino, un ottimo dolce e un amaro hanno chiuso un'ottima cena. Bella location e pienamente soddisfatto del cibo. Da provare
