A charming trattoria nestled in the village of Squillace, where you can still breathe in the atmosphere of tradition and good food. A simple and authentic place, far from the chaotic and overcrowded streets of Italian summers. The atmosphere is familiar and comfortable. The wait for the first courses was a bit long, but it was justified by the busy restaurant and the attentive service. The menu offers a limited number of dishes, but all are flavorful and carefully prepared. The casarecce pasta with tomato and sausage are particularly noteworthy, as are the delicious meatballs and potatoes with peppers. Excellent value: well-crafted dishes, authentic flavors, and a more than fair price. An ideal trattoria for a pleasant evening with family or friends, enjoying good Calabrian cuisine. Recommended!

Simple and welcoming place, good service. Typical local meat dishes. The Calabrian antipasto of cured meats, cheeses, and vegetables is a must, and the grilled meat is excellent, with tender meats. Fair prices.

A typical trattoria in Squillace Superiore, immersed in the pleasant atmosphere of the village, where Aurelio welcomes you with a smile. The menu is simple but tasty, and the essentials are a meal paired with an excellent house wine. We preferred to sample the main courses and side dishes: baked sausages, fried meatballs, parmigiana, potatoes, and peppers, all made with love and skill. Highly recommended, especially for the fair price.
