Over the top. A sure thing for decades. Two servings, 19:30 and 21:30. Go for the second serving, take your time. I recommend a second or third serving of first courses, and then see if you're still hungry. Truffles, but not only.

I had lunch yesterday with two friends from work. I've been wanting to go for a while. We were warmly welcomed by Esma, who manages the dining room with knowledge, determination, and skill, offering advice. Good house red wine, followed by a warm schiacciata, a trio of dishes: tagliolini with truffle, tortelli (!!!) with peppery porcini mushrooms, and crespelle with cheese and truffle fondue. Three main courses: rabbit with Vernaccia wine, liver with scamerita (delicious, I would have liked more liver), and hare in a sweet and sour sauce (for connoisseurs, delicious for my friends who mopped up the bread, and good for me, but I ate a small portion, not a whole plate). A portion of fried artichokes and one of fried porcini mushrooms, finger-licking good, like the rest of the lunch. No desserts, because that would have been too much. Bravo Simone (the chef), bravo Esma, in the dining room. See you next time.

We dined here during the week; on weekends, it's always busy, and reservations are difficult.
The staff is truly welcoming and friendly, and the place is rustic and pleasant.
Everything we ordered was excellent; we didn't leave a single crumb! The tagliolini with truffle and the Bismark were particularly delicious.
This place still retains its old-world authenticity, with delicious food and fair prices.
