The restaurant is very nice, but unfortunately the service didn't really understand us. Neither English nor German. The courses were mixed up, and one of our main courses was forgotten; the server had to ask again. Overall, the food was good. We had the feeling they were overwhelmed with 10 people. The value for money wasn't great either, considering what we received.

The location is one thing, but the food is! Okay, it was my first day on Elba, but the pasta and antipasti were sensational. I can't complain about the service like previous guests, but I was also here in the off-season (October). The wine and grappa selection is enormous, and the service was perfect. I'll be back. My favorite, though, was the Dolce; I'd never had it before, and it paired perfectly with the espresso and grappa...

LIVING A DREAM ✨ Finally, a place that stands out for its selection of dishes and the quality of the food offered. In my opinion, the best pizza on Elba Island and Neapolitan specialties are a must-try. 🍅 For seafood lovers, I recommend the Neapolitan-style mussel soup. 👌🏼 The hospitality and service are top-notch; you always feel pampered here!

Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante nonostante le recensioni contrastanti. Siamo arrivati nel pieno del diluvio con Elba e lo stesso ristorante allagato. Ciononostante siamo stati accolti con grande gentilezza e professionalità, da Letizia, Luigi e tutto lo staff. Cantina super fornita, di gran qualità per tutti i gusti e tutte le tasche. I taglieri sono buonissimi, anche la tartare, siamo stati accontentati su tutto. Anche la fiorentina molto buona. Dolci fatti in casa deliziosi. Consigliatissimo

11/01/2026: From the outside, located at a crossroads along the Aurelia, it doesn't look like much, and it even has a fairly unremarkable parking lot. But anyone who enters this place won't be disappointed, either by the interior (which is decidedly beautiful compared to the rather bland exterior), which, in addition to the restaurant, also houses a shop selling many Tuscan food and wine delicacies and more, or by the quality of the food. In short, it's definitely worth a visit.

24/04/2025: Servizio di sala impeccabile! Notevole sperienza gustativa e visiva, abbiamo apprezzato tutto, anche l'abbinamento con un ottimo vino elbano che non conoscevamo. Squisito il polpo adagiato sul millefoglie di patata e il totaki di tonno. Serata particolare!
22/04/2025: Porto azzurro ed in genere offrono una grande gamma di locali dove mangiare pesce molluschi e crostacei alla maniera tradizionale dell’ isola con sapori tipici del luogo. Non mancano anche le trattorie che servono piatti poveri dei minatori e dei contadini di una volta. Ma sono pochissimi i locali che offrono una cucina di alto livello, elaborata ed innovativa con la possibilità di un menù ricco di crudite, di primi e secondi curatissimi nella presentazione e nel mix di gusti che esplodono in bocca, pesce freschissimo e lavorazione efficace della materia prima. Uno di questi è la Botte Gaia, situato in una ex chiesetta sconsacrata, con pochi coperti (indispensabile prenotare) ed uno staff estremamente competente e prodigo di spiegazioni. I dessert fatti in casa sono originali e creativi. Grande carta dei vini con gemme locali e dei distillati, compreso un whisky ottenuto da luppolo locale. Esperienza fra le migliori in assoluto.
