Excellent food, fresh fish...... Service needs to be reviewed

If you're in Marina di Camerota, you can't miss a delicious seafood meal at Taverna del Mozzo. We went twice in 15 days... the fish was incredibly fresh, carefully selected and cooked to order (just enough time for an appetizer). The staff was incredibly courteous and professional.

What can I say? Simply fantastic fish...the service is top notch...the fried food without asterisks is wow...the mussels, oh my...everything, absolutely perfect...it's not enough to recommend it, you have to go there.

Very nice location with sea view. The environment could be made more welcoming with different, softer lighting. The food is always top notch. Very fresh raw materials and excellent execution of the dishes. Absolutely not to be missed are the spaghetti with sea urchins and the catch of the day. The grilled razor clams and the fried food without asterisks are very tasty. If you appreciate good food, this is the right place! Attentive and friendly service. Excellent value for money. Definitely a great experience, to be repeated!

we booked a day in advance for a Saturday in early July and upon arrival they seated us straight away. The service leaves much to be desired even if the waiters were very kind and polite but they were absolutely inexperienced kids. Wide choice on the wine list but no one able to give advice or provide explanations. Everything we ordered was really tasty and well cooked, good raw materials. A lot of waiting between the appetizers and the first courses but all in all it can be tolerated. The long wait meant that we were no longer hungry and after the first course we didn't order anything else. A very negative note was the fact that at 10pm on Saturday the desserts were practically all finished and there was only one type left, which is absurd in high season and also considering the time, it was in Pratova the end of the first shift. Overall however I think I ate really well so I'm satisfied. Good but there is room for improvement

This is the third time we have come to dinner at this restaurant and it is always delicious. Excellent food, impeccable service, perfect location! The linguine with shrimp tartare and truffle is a delight! We will return every time we come to Camerota!

We had dinner at this restaurant, excellent food, fresh fish, but terrible service, to be improved because it is not related to the quality of the food. By mistake a waiter dropped our plate with tartare (it can happen) but they re-prepared the tartare on the same plate that fell to the floor, you could easily notice it from the stains left by the previous tartare. To have two glasses of wine we ordered them three times and to finish a fried food that never arrived, only after a long wait and a reminder we received the fried food not complete as we had ordered, the anchovies were missing. All this at the price of 150.75 cents including!! I repeat where the price is not discussed for the quality of the food but for the service and attention to the customer.

A seafood tavern that feels like home. Found while walking, it inspired goodness and youth… we booked and, yes, expected expectations. The cuisine is traditional, with that bit of innovation that Chef Davide doses with expertise, without falling into the forced fine dining that he often doesn’t marry, remaining a pure aesthetic experiment: the sincere flavors and the excellent quality of the ingredients. The menu can please everyone without being banal… don’t miss the tubes with rock fish reduction. The catch of the day is always a must. The “room”, a welcoming terrace overlooking the marina, is the kingdom of Assunta, sunny and perfect director of an impeccable team of young professionals, all ready to pamper you. No, in this place we don’t look for perfection, but authenticity and feeling good at the table; result? we came back and, I would say, we will come back again! P.S.: mention to the wine list… remarkable!

We had lunch right after our arrival in Marina di Camerota, the location was beautiful with a balcony overlooking the port. The dishes were excellent, I recommend the pasta with anchovies from Menaica and stracciatella. The owners were honest, with an unusual gesture nowadays, they took back the excess that we had inadvertently paid more. We recommend this place.

A place that “kidnapped” us from the first time and where we return with great pleasure. Excellent food, quality raw materials. The owner always welcomes you with a smile. I recommend it with all my heart
