During a vacation, Saturday June 14th we stopped for lunch at this place and it was a pleasant surprise: the place, characteristic and located in the medieval village of Castel Trosino, is well furnished and in medieval style, the staff is kind and helpful, the food with a "homemade" flavor is excellent and so are the desserts, the portions are adequate and the price is honest and in line with the dishes offered.

Visiting CastelTrosino with the family, we stopped to eat in this Tavern. Truly welcoming environment, fast and friendly service, honest prices, excellent raw materials for delicious dishes with generous portions. The best mixed fried food I have ever eaten in a restaurant in my life. Congratulations indeed.

We came by when it was almost 1pm. He tells us everything is full, when the tables are still all empty. Surely they will have arrived. Too bad that on a sunny and hot day, not even a table set up outside.

Best Ascoli fried food I've ever eaten! The owners welcomed us even though we arrived at closing time and we were able to taste truly exceptional typical cuisine... The fried food and the stew are highly recommended. We'll be back! 😊

The premise is always necessary. Mine are simply subjective evaluations without any claim other than sharing a personal experience. Never evaluate them as absolute and always have your own personal idea when you stay in the facilities. Beautiful and unexpected, enchanting and characteristic place in a mystical village. Managed lovingly by Mom and Daughter. Excellent dishes made with love all in house and attention to detail. Very very affordable price. Highly recommended.

Third time in the last 5 years that I come to eat at this splendid inn. Excellent quality food, served in quantities that are right for a tavern/osteria. Really competitive prices in relation to the quality of the food. Quick and kind service, recommended!

We appreciated the excellent quality of the raw material, the generous portions and the kindness and helpfulness of the staff who welcomed us and made us feel at home throughout the evening.
