A very nice restaurant in a beautiful little square, with very friendly staff and excellent food. We were walking the great ring of Ascoli Piceno villages, and to refuel after a long day in the sun, we ate and drank practically the entire menu, spending a very reasonable amount! Highly recommended!

Don’t expect fancy cooking, this is about simple, honest and delicious local dishes. Nona does the cooking and she knows her stuff. Super fresh produce. Locals seem to really like it, then you know it’s likely to be good. The setting in Castel Trosino is lovely, especially when you can find a table on the outside terrace that is basically the village’s central square. Best Ascolane olives I tasted during my stay in the region.

During a vacation, Saturday June 14th we stopped for lunch at this place and it was a pleasant surprise: the place, characteristic and located in the medieval village of Castel Trosino, is well furnished and in medieval style, the staff is kind and helpful, the food with a "homemade" flavor is excellent and so are the desserts, the portions are adequate and the price is honest and in line with the dishes offered.

11/09/2025: Great Pizza place with very good value for money. We were a group of 15 people and they managed to handle our orders exceptionally well! They have two sitting areas: one is an slightly open outside area and the other one, which is quite bright in terms of lights, inside. It's a large pizza (and pasta!) shed with the rusty ambient you kind of wish for a lush atmosphere with friends.
10/09/2025: This pizzeria is located just before arriving in Montalto. I'd never been there before, but I'll definitely be back. It's the best value for money; the food is truly delicious and reasonably priced. The pizza is one of the best I've ever had, very thin and with a light crust. I definitely recommend it.
