A place we ended up in a bit by chance but it fully met expectations. Homemade cuisine with excellent quality ingredients. The first courses were really delicious and with generous portions. To conclude, the artisanal ice cream produced by them is truly a delight. Absolutely recommended!

We stopped by chance, it is located on the Terme Luigiane road in the Fagnano Castello area, and it was an excellent choice. Very kind staff, excellent food, suitable for families because there is enough space, recently introduced agri-ice creams on the menu with a different taste from the normal industrial product.

While visiting the 4 small natural lakes present in the Municipal Territory of Fagnano Castello, we are advised to have lunch in this place along the road that leads to Guardia Piemontese. It is a family-run farmhouse, with the possibility of having lunch outside under a large covered space. The courses are all of very good quality, starting from the starters to the main courses. The choices are varied, it is even proposed that you can choose multiple types of sauces to pair with the type of pasta you like best. The house wine is of good quality, as are the desserts and the homemade ice cream made by the owners. I recommend stopping: it's worth it and the taste will be satisfied. Enjoy your meal !

27/11/2024: Just 8 km from DOMUS CEDRI apartment, the Antica Trattoria A' Taverna in Scalea Vecchia offers an authentic experience rich in typical Calabrian flavours. Located in the heart of the historic village, the suggestive and ancient-style location gives the impression of a dive into the past, among characteristic alleys and a unique atmosphere. The cuisine, simple but excellent, stands out for freshly prepared genuine dishes, such as fusilli with goat sauce and spaghetti with anchovies, both of superior quality. The portions are generous, the starters rich and the prices honest. The staff, kind and welcoming, contribute to making the experience special. To reach the restaurant, it is advisable to wear comfortable shoes and enjoy a walk among the stairways and alleys of the historic center. An unmissable stop for those who want to savor the real Calabria in an atmosphere of times gone by! Reservations are recommended.
