La taverna del Buon Gusto In Cantù

I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service, particularly the excellent preparation of the suckling pig and the traditional Sardinian side dishes.

Looking for a restaurant where we could try something different from the usual, this seemed like the perfect fit for the occasion. As soon as we entered the courtyard, we could already smell the delicious cuisine. Excellent welcome, clean location, very kind and always smiling staff. 😍. The menu is rich in traditional Sardinian dishes at a good price. We enjoyed EVERYTHING and promise to return soon to try other dishes on the menu. A beautiful evening.

We had dinner this evening, July 19, 2025. It's our first time at this restaurant. We had a wonderful time. We were greeted by a very pleasant atmosphere, and the hostess was very kind. The Sardinian cuisine was excellent; we'll definitely be back soon.

We tried it; the place is small but cozy. The dishes are generously portioned. I recommend the porceddu, even though we found it hard to stomach.

It's not the first time I go to this restaurant and as always it's a certainty I was on Saturday with friends and everything was amazing

I think I have eaten so well only a few times even in Sardinia, we had fregola with seafood, spaghetti with clams and bottarga and maccaronis with Argentine shrimp, all delicious, accompanied by the excellent "Pan di zucchero" wine from the ARU winery. For us it was the first time, and it was a very pleasant surprise, the menu is limited and some dishes must be booked and I consider this a plus because what is offered is prepared with care. The owners are welcoming, even with our two dogs, the service in adequate times. Absolutely satisfied, we will definitely return soon.

I was there yesterday with three friends, it was a bit of a bad evening, as at the beginning some of the guests clogged a toilet that flooded everything, making the toilet area unusable and forcing us to at least half an hour of annoying noise caused by the water being sucked in. The taking of orders and the service consequently slowed down. The waitress who served us dropped a glass of water on a friend of mine and forgot to bring me a side dish but she apologized and was super kind and professional for the rest of the evening (and obviously when it came time to pay she apologized again and didn't include it in the bill). The food itself is good and there is a large choice of Sardinian specialties. The location could perhaps be themed a bit more. In the end, the four of us spent €40 each, perhaps slightly more than I expected. Yesterday evening was bad but it can happen to anyone, I would go back for the food and for the kindness and professionalism of the waitress.
