Excellent food and friendly service; the rooms are a bit cramped, though. But Bassiano is definitely worth a visit.

I went there after a motorbike outing with friends, the appetizer was plentiful, I had a tagliata and I must say that this was also good, the only flaw was that I put too much salt, however in the context very good.

We went to La Taverna del Brigante on a Tuesday evening at the recommendation of the owner of the B&B where we were staying. They welcomed us before dinner, and the owner prepared a platter of delicious local cured meats, olives, and cheeses. The grilled vegetables were spectacular, but the highlight was definitely the bean soup: DEVASTATING. The Brigante wine was also good, so much so that we ordered two bottles. Finally, we had some dry biscuits for dessert. Everything was delicious, and the owner is incredibly kind. Highly recommended!!

Very friendly and helpful staff, decent food, and reasonable prices. The mixed platter features very few cheeses and plenty of cured meats, and good wine. There's not much to choose from.

28/09/2025: Sunday group lunch Mrs. Maria delighted us with her cuisine. The staff was attentive and courteous. The excellent baked sea bream with potatoes was a must-try.

12/01/2026: The place is very nice, the service was once again quick and friendly, but the strong point is definitely the quality of the food. From appetizer to dessert, everything was excellent!
08/12/2025: Sunday, December 8, 2025. 6 people. Price: €45 per person. First courses: lukewarm strozzapreti and bland sauce...the ragù is nonexistent. Wild boar fettuccine, unfortunately, tasteless, as are tagliolini with truffles...the castle appetizer €15 for two pieces of polenta omelette and nothing else doesn't justify the price. Sautéed broccoli was good, but not spicy...not everyone ordered a first course, 3 appetizers, 3 second courses...the price was decidedly high. Service, very nice and kind people.
