La Taverna del Barbacane In Città della pieve

Beautiful place kept to perfection. Excellent coffee

Dinner in the tavern, spartan but warm service by very young Contrada volunteers, good tagliatelle but better pinched snails and sausages with cooked grass

On the occasion of the Palio dei Terzieri we went to Città della Pieve to enjoy the pleasantness of these types of evenings and to eat good food. We were satisfied from both points of view: the Tavern is truly beautiful and evocative, and the food is delicious. I chose this place to try Snails for the first time in my life and I was not disappointed in my expectations.

Always nice and good from the Barbican in Città della Pieve, then the snails....
