Wow. What a little gem. The food was fantastic, the owner was a gracious host, and the wine was plentiful.
Went back a year later with my Italian inlaws (the restaurants REAL test). They loved it. Great experience once again.

Excellent traditional cuisine.
A secluded establishment located in a rural area, close to the city but only accessible via very narrow streets.
Simple, yet functional, trattoria-style decor. The atmosphere is a bit noisy due to the many guests, almost all construction workers at lunch, and especially the owner's shouting, both to the kitchen and to the customers.
Always in a very loud voice, orders, jokes, and questions; a very unique person but extremely courteous and generous.
Highly recommended.

We stopped at this trattoria on our way back from Puglia.
A typical family-run trattoria. Excellent, authentic home cooking. Extraordinary ingredients. The owner is unpretentious, yet kind and incredibly hospitable. Generous portions. We even mopped up the bread with the bread.
Exactly what we were looking for. Worth keeping in mind for future visits to the area! 10 out of 10!
