Excellent traditional cuisine. A secluded establishment located in a rural area, close to the city but only accessible via very narrow streets. Simple, yet functional, trattoria-style decor. The atmosphere is a bit noisy due to the many guests, almost all construction workers at lunch, and especially the owner's shouting, both to the kitchen and to the customers. Always in a very loud voice, orders, jokes, and questions; a very unique person but extremely courteous and generous. Highly recommended.

We stopped at this trattoria on our way back from Puglia. A typical family-run trattoria. Excellent, authentic home cooking. Extraordinary ingredients. The owner is unpretentious, yet kind and incredibly hospitable. Generous portions. We even mopped up the bread with the bread. Exactly what we were looking for. Worth keeping in mind for future visits to the area! 10 out of 10!

On our way back from Puglia, we stopped at this restaurant, just a few minutes from the Ortona highway exit. Nestled amidst greenery and vineyards, the owner is a total nut (in a good way) and a quiet shouter, but very friendly and approachable. The food is truly amazing and homemade, just like it used to be. Handmade pasta, locally sourced products, and flavors long forgotten. We had the platter as an appetizer (very generous), the arrosticini were delicious, and the mixed grill was excellent. We paid €25 per person, which included 1 liter of very good house red wine, water, and coffee. Recommended for rediscovering the old-fashioned flavors.

The host is a very nice person and the food is simple but really good.

Di ritorno dalle ferie ci siamo fermati ad Ortona e abbiamo scoperto questo ristorante tramite il navigatore un po' "a caso" ed era esattamente quello che stavamo cercando, un ristorante dove sentirsi come al pranzo della domenica a casa della nonna dove ti siedi al tavolo e sai già che che ti alzerai strapieno e soprattutto mangiando bene. Il servizio di Gianluca non è per i deboli di cuore, nemmeno per chi ha la puzza sotto il naso, lui è il protagonista del locale e tra risate, storie e tutto e di più, ci ha veramente fatto sentire a casa. Complimenti soprattutto alle signore in cucina perchè sono veramente spaziali, antipasti con pomodori da un sapore VERO, formaggio arrosto veramente superbo, ma il piatto forte sono i primi, pasta fatta a mano, Ravioli al pomodoro stratosferici, un piatto che sembra "semplice" però il mix dii pasta fatta a mano veramente bene e con un vero ripieno e sugo fatto con materie prime vere e KM 0 sono il piatto che più ci ha colpito, chitarrina al ragù molto buona, come secondo abbiamo preso degli arrosticini e devo dire che tra Vasto, Termoli, Ortona centro questi sono i più buoni mai mangiati finora si scioglievano letteralmente in bocca.
