First restaurant chosen for lunch on our mini Roman vacation.
A stone's throw from the Colosseum, a rustic but minimalist restaurant, in my opinion very beautiful and well-designed. There is also a small outdoor area with tables outside with climbing plants, very characteristic and perfect for a sunny day.
The Cacio e Pepe was excellent and the ricotta and sour cherry tart was a wonderful discovery. I think both the pasta and the cake were homemade and if so they deserve all my compliments!
The waiters were a bit brusque but the lady in the dining room (perhaps the owner) was very attentive and kind.
I will definitely go back and I recommend it!

A true taste of Italy! This restaurant offers authentic Italian cuisine with fresh, high-quality ingredients and traditional flavors. From the homemade pasta to the perfectly cooked mushroom chicken, every dish was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff made us feel like family. Pairing the meal with a great Italian wine made the experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a real Italian dining experience!

In zona Colosseo finalmente un locale non turistico con ottimo cibo in una location rustica.
Bruschetta e arrosticini ottimi, crostini gorgonzola zucchine e noci, carciofi alla romana non possono mai mancare.

Trattoria che nasce da un ritrovo culturale e politico negli anni ‘80, con cucina tradizionale romana a pochi passi dal Colosseo in zona Celio. Abbiamo apprezzato molto la focaccia con olio e rosmarino. Come primo abbiamo voluto provare la carbonara: molto buona se non fosse davvero molto salata. Tagliata olio e rosmarino, servita un po’ fredda e anche qui… troppo sale grosso. A parte questa nota, ci siamo trovati bene ed il tortino con cuore caldo (tutti i dolci fatti in casa), ha bilanciato la precedente sapidità dei piatti.
