La Taverna In Chioggia

Sunday lunch with tuna steak, swordfish steak, fries, and non-alcoholic sorbet. Excellent food, impeccable service, and the owners were very kind, friendly, and helpful. Good prices. Restrooms were clean and tidy, equipped with everything you need. The interior was very beautiful and worth a visit. Definitely worth adding to your list of places to visit when you visit the city.

Fresh, expertly cooked fish...and their cod, in my opinion, is the best in Chioggia. Congratulations!

The ambiance is truly stunning. The music, the decor, the cloth napkins, the sparkling wine glasses, and much more. All in all, a fantastic experience and highly recommended. Please note that the cover charge is €3.50 per person, not included like in Germany. We paid just over €70 for four people, including a bottle of water.

The fish was delicious, but the wine cost €14 for a 37.5cl bottle, which we considered high value for money. The service could have been friendlier, with the exception of the young lady.

Given the location, adjacent to the port, where many ships of fresh fish arrive, the frozen fried food served, strange flavor, high prices, in the dining room I observed that customers had ordered raw fish, including king prawns, and pointed out to the owner that they were still wrapped with the crust attached, so they were taken away and not replaced with an apology, I do not recommend it.

Excellent fish, very well prepared. The fried mixed seafood is a spectacle, sometimes they also have grilled capolonghi... don't miss it... but the rest is also wonderful.

This is an excellent place to experience authentic Italian cuisine. The service is friendly and attentive, the food is outstanding, and the atmosphere is wonderful. I highly recommend it.

A very pleasant evening in this quiet trattoria, more like a restaurant. The fish platter and calamari were perfect. Good house wine. A very quiet and pleasant atmosphere inside. Service was a bit distracted, but otherwise good. Highly recommended!

Un pranzo in compagnia parzialmente rovinato. Premetto con il dire che le portate sono state generalmente buone e pertanto nulla da eccepire sulla qualità dei prodotti e sui piatti serviti. La nota negativa , molto negativa è stata senza ombra di dubbio la totale maleducazione del titolare che , fin da subito. Si è dimostrato scortese , scocciato e frettoloso nei Nostri confronti. Una tavolata di 15 persone adulte civili non di certo degli scalmanati , trattati quasi a pesci in faccia , obbligati a scelte frettolose tanto ad aver portato più di qualcuno a rinunciare quasi per paura di irritarlo oltre modo. Se questo è l’effetto Borghese , invito i ristoratori ad evitare di andarci!! Nemmeno il dolce ci è stato chiesto! Che volessero liberarsi di Noi? Nulla da dire invece sul servizio dei ragazzi in sala e sulla moglie del Sig. Felice. Per il resto , croce sopra , peccato perché abbiamo sempre mangiato bene! Sconsigliato ahimè.
