Taverna Cavallotti is a pleasant discovery in the heart of Chioggia. The intimate setting, meticulously maintained, maintains the authentic atmosphere you seek when you want to experience true local tradition. The staff is friendly, attentive, yet never intrusive, creating a relaxed, family atmosphere. Dishes are prepared with fresh, quality ingredients, presented simply and tastefully, in keeping with Chioggia's culinary tradition. A recommended destination for those seeking a genuine experience, without frills but with plenty of warmth and substance.

Here at La Taverna we had a great time, we had spaghetti allo scoglio served in a hot dish, pork with the best sauce, perfect pasta cooked to perfection, mussels, scampi and prawns delicious, kind staff and always attentive to the customer, we really enjoyed the dinner, the owners are very good!

Traditional food, good, and generous portions, but not overly so.
The dishes arrived very quickly, even those added after the first order.
Prices were average for the place.
Sitting on the veranda, where no one smoked (luckily, but I don't know if it was actually forbidden), only one thing was a bit off: the fake plants hanging from the pots on the wall...

Sunday lunch with tuna steak, swordfish steak, fries, and non-alcoholic sorbet. Excellent food, impeccable service, and the owners were very kind, friendly, and helpful. Good prices. Restrooms were clean and tidy, equipped with everything you need. The interior was very beautiful and worth a visit. Definitely worth adding to your list of places to visit when you visit the city.

The ambiance is truly stunning. The music, the decor, the cloth napkins, the sparkling wine glasses, and much more. All in all, a fantastic experience and highly recommended. Please note that the cover charge is €3.50 per person, not included like in Germany. We paid just over €70 for four people, including a bottle of water.

The fish was delicious, but the wine cost €14 for a 37.5cl bottle, which we considered high value for money.
The service could have been friendlier, with the exception of the young lady.

Given the location, adjacent to the port, where many ships of fresh fish arrive, the frozen fried food served, strange flavor, high prices, in the dining room I observed that customers had ordered raw fish, including king prawns, and pointed out to the owner that they were still wrapped with the crust attached, so they were taken away and not replaced with an apology, I do not recommend it.
