Excellent scallops as a starter, spaghetti alle vongole, panna cotta... everything was very good, the price/performance ratio is excellent, and the atmosphere is lovely and welcoming. A wonderful fish restaurant.

I'm taking a motorcycle trip out of town with my daughter. On the recommendation of a friend who runs a business in Chioggia, I had a wonderful experience at this place: quiet, clean, friendly staff, excellent food, and very fair prices. I'll definitely be back.

I left beautiful Venice to come to Chioggia for a lovely dinner.
La Taverna went above and beyond. High-quality seafood cuisine followed by excellent service.
The atmosphere is welcoming, not top-notch, but clean and tidy. I recommend it 100%.

The food is good and of decent quality, with prices average for the place, considering it's a tourist area. Water and cover charges are above average. However, I noticed a somewhat pushy attitude from the staff. After ordering, the waiter asked if we wanted to add anything else, such as fried food or wine, and when it came time to get the bill, the lady at the cashier listed the dishes we hadn't ordered, as if to emphasize that our order was too small.
This kind of behavior is inappropriate: every customer should feel free to order whatever they want without feeling pressured or judged.

Here at La Taverna we had a great time, we had spaghetti allo scoglio served in a hot dish, pork with the best sauce, perfect pasta cooked to perfection, mussels, scampi and prawns delicious, kind staff and always attentive to the customer, we really enjoyed the dinner, the owners are very good!
