I often go to Altra Taverna and always have a great time: it's one of those places where the welcome makes you feel at home. The restaurant has a pleasant and convivial atmosphere, with intimate interior rooms and a terrace overlooking a beautiful park, perfect for summer evenings.
The pizza is the star: well-leavened Neapolitan dough, a soft and flavorful crust, cooked to perfection in a wood-fired oven.
The selection is wide: from classics (like Margherita and Marinara) to delicious ones with a ricotta-filled crust or extra ingredients like sausage, broccoli rabe, buffalo mozzarella, and zucchini flowers.
Also try the appetizers: montanarine, fried gnocco with Parma ham, and stuffed zucchini flowers—all light and delicious fried.

We went for dinner on Saturday night and were really impressed by the excellence of this pizzeria.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great professionalism and warmth.
A special applause goes to the waiter who served us, whose attention to the customer made our evening even more enjoyable.
He was able to advise us with mastery, demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of the menu and a genuine willingness to satisfy our every need. His impeccable and discreet service helped create a truly special atmosphere.
But let's get to the food: a real delight! The pizzas were nothing short of exquisite, the result of careful research and a selection of the highest quality ingredients. Each bite was an explosion of flavors, demonstrating a cuisine that aims for excellence and refinement. You can clearly perceive the care and passion in the choice of raw materials, which elevate the pizza to a higher level.
Furthermore, the wine list is excellent, with well-selected labels that pair perfectly with the culinary proposals, further enriching the gastronomic experience.
In short, this pizzeria is not just a place to eat an excellent pizza, but a true temple of taste where the high quality of the products marries perfectly with impeccable service and attention to the customer that makes the difference. We will definitely return and recommend it to all our friends!

Very well-kept and intimate place, friendly waiters.. there were 3 of us and we tried the tasting that included two montanarine each, and 3 two-flavor pizza slices.. we were super satisfied, the combinations were exceptional and the raw materials excellent! We will definitely be back :)

Invited by a colleague whose local, it was great food all around and great atmosphere. Can accommodate big tables but seating can be a bit tight.
2025 Update:
Back after 8 years and just as good! They also have stuffed crust in some of the pizza.

Dette er det beste besøket vi har hatt på en resturant, vi var på en annen resturant tidligere på dagen der vi ikke følte oss velkomen. Men på denne var de veldig veldig hyggelige og behandlet oss som de lokale. Pizzaen va den beste jeg har smakt NOENSINNE, atmosfæren var helt fantastisk, vi var der til etter stenge tid og når vi tilbydde og betale så de ansatte kunne gå hjem, fikk vi beskjed om at vi absolutt ikke skulle stresse. Vi kunne bare nyte middagen. Når vi betalte fikk vi i tillegg en gratis shot med limoncello hver. Denne resturanten anbefalles på det sterkeste!!!! En fantastisk opplevelse!!
