Nice place in a hidden street in the center.
We ate quite well, but nothing exceptional. The service was “up and down”; a kind waitress and a slightly annoyed waiter.
The service was a little slow and halfway through dinner we ran out of bread.
Unfortunately, the wine by the glass was not exceptional.

The food is very, very good, the raw materials are of high quality, tasty and well presented. Excellent starters, the rabbit and guinea fowl Belluno style are mouth-watering.. the tuna steak my son had was excellent. Excellent choice of wines, the house malbech is also excellent... the rustic atmosphere is welcoming, not very large, it feels good. The service was excellent. The bill is consistent with the quality of the products and the portions. I will definitely return.

We had lunch as a couple in this little restaurant in the center of Belluno. Sarde in saor worthy of Olympic gold, in equal position with the very tender roe deer with blueberries.

Had dinner at Taverna while I was on vacation on The Dolomites. The food was alright, good Italian cuisine but nothing extraordinary. The service was excellent.

This restaurant did not disappoint. There were only 2 wait-staff and the place was packed, but the service was excellent. The food was made with high quality ingredients. I had the "Onion Pie" which was pureed carmelized onions on top of garlic aioli mashed potatoes. Then I had the Ricotta Gnocci with Asparagus which is like no gnocci I have ever had. Light as a feather and so wonderful. I also ordered a side salad which had colorful, fresh ingredients. My husband had Snails and Polenta which was excellent. He also had the Tagliatele followed by steak and Fries. We would definitely go again. It is a small, local restaurant with excellent food. Best to get a reservation.
