We went on a Saturday evening two weeks ago. The place was packed; we had made a reservation and were seated immediately. But despite the kindness of the staff, I must say the quality, and indeed quantity, of the dishes was truly mediocre. The pizza was good, but the grilled meat offered for the modest sum of €20 was truly paltry. One slice of pancetta, two arrosticini, one Norcia-style sausage, and three lamb bones. The meat was overcooked due to the obvious rush to serve so many people. I sent the dish back, but it came back the same one with a bone and a little more meat. After 25 years of frequenting Abruzzo, this was the first time I left the table disappointed.

The arrosticini were divine, the service is fast, the bruschetta is free, the food is very good. These are the words of my 10 year old son who begged me to write this review in his own words.

Service to be reviewed, forgetfulness, delays, portions normal, no more (especially the soup, really small but good) for the whole duration of the dinner a child, I don't know if he was the son of the owners, cheered us up with his cries.

We visited the town of Pescasseroli for the Ponte4de on April 24th and we arrived at Tana del Lupo after having tried others and they were all still good. But I would return here: simple food, delicious meat (2 of us had a Florentine steak and couldn't finish it), delicious pizza and dessert.... what can I say! Strawberries with ice cream or cream or sorbet (I with ice cream and my husband with sorbet) fresh and crunchy. Excellent and informal service with a thoughtful and discreet lady and a couple of attentive guys. I hope to return!

Cenetta di famiglia a base di pizza ( tutte ottime , ben farcite e molto abbondanti). Arrostiticini e patatine di contorno veramente buoni. Ottime anche le bruschette come antipasto e dolci veramente squisiti.
Per essere la prima volta che ci andavo, promosso e consigliato.
