I went to Tana degli Amici to celebrate Ennio's 25th wedding anniversary. Friends had recommended the place to him, and I have to say they were right.
Five stars, well-deserved.
The fish was truly top-quality. I often go fishing, and you can taste it right away when the fish is fresh: here, it was absolutely delicious. From the appetizers with super-fresh oysters to the first and second courses, everything was cooked beautifully and with great flavor.
I can't say the price because I was a guest, but for the quality of the food and the fish, I can say it's definitely worth a visit.
If you love well-prepared fish, I'd definitely recommend it.

The restaurant is very simple. We had a mixed appetizer of mussels and clams, two first courses, three second courses, and Sicilian cannolini.
I don't recommend the mussels; they weren't very flavorful and were lost in the very salty lemon sauce. We enjoyed the first course with artichokes and squid, and the second courses (tuna and swordfish) were average.
The staff were very kind and helpful, but overall, we won't be returning.
P.S. I disagree with the tone of the restaurant owner's responses in these reviews; he should accept feedback constructively.

A rustic-style restaurant with a simple, welcoming atmosphere. The dishes are average, and overall the experience was decent, with nothing particularly noteworthy. The friendly and attentive staff are definitely a plus.

Very nice, welcoming, and clean place. Very good food, excellent fried anchovies, very fresh fish. What can I say, everything was excellent, we'll be back.

I'm speechless! Everything is truly special, the fresh fish is deliciously prepared, the place is small but colorful, very clean, and run by two wonderful brothers. Keep it up, we'll be back! Highly recommended!
