The food was good, but the risotto and pasta were a bit small. The waiter was very friendly, and the place was very nice.

Very nice place, owner present and very kind and also the waitress was very kind and was able to advise us very well with a smile.
We really liked the vibe in general.
Very particular dishes, like the carrot gnocchi with licorice and thyme (which I recommend!) but also traditional ones. We liked everything except the bread that had obviously been left out for several hours.

Complessivamente non ho mangiato benissimo: premetto che sono una persona che frequenta quando può sistematicamente i ristoranti che partecipano a 4 ristoranti e “La Tana” era il ristorante che mi era piaciuto di più tra quelli dalla puntata e, ricordando la frase “questo salame non lo darei nemmeno al
mio cane”pronunciata dall’oste Alessandro nei confronti di un altro gestore, le aspettative erano altissime.
Riassumo cosa non ha funzionato.
1) Scegliamo il vino Alte Langhe, tra le proposte al bicchiere presenti in carta, ma non era disponibile. Ci consigliano in alternativa un rosee che viene servito in bottiglia, caldo. Nostra colpa non averlo fatto presente. In ogni caso riempiono tre calici, in modica quantità, dando per scontato che avremmo consumato la bottiglia che ci viene lasciata al tavolo: cosa che abbiamo fatto e pagato.
2) ordiniamo un tagliere misto di salumi per due, di aspetto diverso dalle foto allegate ad altre
recensioni, e una tartare di coniglio. Aspettiamo per consumare gli antipasti, perché ai due commensali che dividono il tagliere mancano i piatti. Dopo aver richiamato l’attenzione, apparecchiano con due piatti da frutta. I crostini freddi, ottimo il prosciutto crudo, salame
Bergamasco deludente viste le premesse e inoltre sul piatto dei salumi c’era un pezzo di domopak: distrazione.
3) Avevamo ordinato casoncelli e ravioli: che arrivano dopo 25 minuti, indietro di cottura e ravioli con i piselli crudi e duri( sarà così ricetta?)
Visto il servizio distratto e lento pur in presenza di pochi avventori, non prendiamo altro, paghiamo e andiamo via.

Overall, I didn’t eat very well: I’ll start by saying that I’m someone who systematically goes to restaurants that participate in 4 restaurants when I can, and “La Tana” was the restaurant that I liked the most among those from the episode, and, remembering the phrase “I wouldn’t even give this salami to my dog” uttered by the innkeeper Alessandro towards another manager, expectations were very high.
Let me summarize what didn’t work.
1) We chose the Alte Langhe wine, from the options available by the glass on the menu, but it wasn’t available. They recommended a rosé as an alternative, which is served in a bottle, hot. Our fault for not having mentioned it. In any case, they filled three glasses, in a modest quantity, assuming that we would have consumed the bottle that was left for us at the table: which we did and paid for.
2) we ordered a mixed platter of cold cuts for two, which looked different from the photos attached to other reviews, and a rabbit tartare. We wait to eat the appetizers, because the two guests sharing the cutting board are missing plates. After drawing attention, they set the table with two fruit plates. The crostini are cold, the prosciutto crudo is excellent, salami
Bergamasco is disappointing given the premises and also on the plate of cured meats there was a piece of domopak: distraction.
3) We had ordered casoncelli and ravioli: which arrive after 25 minutes, overcooked and ravioli with raw and hard peas (is this the recipe?)
Given the distracted and slow service despite the presence of few customers, we do not order anything else, pay and leave.

I nostri amici hanno scelto questo ristorante per la nostra gita a Bergamo.
Abbiamo mangiato discretamente bene. Locale carino, accogliente. Personale gentile. Buon locale senza effetto wow :-)
