Excellent home-cooked food. Very pleasant and helpful waiter who made the effort to speak French to us even though it was not his language. For each dish the waiter recommended a perfectly matched glass of wine. We loved it.

Beautiful environment and great service. Cuisine that offers the great classics of the Bergamo tradition reinterpreted with class to "elevate" them so to speak (which justifies the prices a little higher than the average for the upper city). This isn't always successful (casoncelli very similar to traditional ones, but less enjoyable than grandma's, good beef stew, but with some bitter-sweet aftertaste that seems forced). BUT.
Divine desserts and above all wines served, all of supreme quality, with incredible value for money (especially if you come from Milan like me).
However I will return.

We came to dine at this establishment twice during our stay in Italy, and it was impeccable. Both by the quality of the service, the quality of the dishes, the fresh and homemade products (traditional charcuterie as it is rare to eat) and the very beautiful bottles! You can taste the traditional Cassoncelli with Bergamasca, and it's a bomb! The staff is very pleasant and attentive, we will come back as soon as possible, thank you

Este era nuestro restaurante favorito de los 3 que visitamos mientras estábamos en Bérgamo para una cena.
La comida era absolutamente deliciosa, el personal era tan amable y el ambiente en el restaurante estaba zumbando sin ser ruidoso.
Si volvemos a Bergamo sin duda volveremos a comer aquí de nuevo.

Fantastic experience. We enjoyed a nice evening with friends in this restaurant in the upper town. We ate downstairs, where we were served in perfect time by a very friendly waitress. Excellent appetizer. Very good first courses. I tried a perfectly cooked risotto with iuertis (bruscandoli) on top but the others also appreciated it. The dessert very good. I also had a chat with the owner who is really nice. Advised

Locale scelto per una cena infrasettimanale rilassante grazie alle note di jazz in sottofondo in una location semplice con dettagli non convenzionali. Piatti tradizionali o dalle combinazioni di alimenti non banali. Da provare il dolce della casa, il Gilberto.
