Very satisfied with lunch! We had mixed appetizers with cured meats, pickled vegetables and rice cake and two very generous portions of ravioli with mushroom sauce. There was no more room for the second course... however, we were tempted by the desserts: me Bavarian and my husband apple pie. All delicious. Very honest account.

Super positive experience. 13 people went for a pre-Christmas lunch. We had a wonderful time. Generous portions, genuine homemade food and cooked very well. The ravioli is highly recommended and the baked potatoes are unbelievable!! How delicious, I've never eaten such good potatoes, The house wine is also good, excellent bill. In short, one of the few remaining trattorias that keeps costs low without compromising quality. The place inside is very characteristic and typical, very familiar, there is also a bit of space outside where you can have a chat and there are several parking spaces for cars. I will definitely return.

Ieri sera siamo stati a cena presso questa simpatica trattoria, situata in località Carpenissone (bisogna salire dal fondovalle per circa 5,5 km lungo una strada talvolta piuttosto stretta). Propone una cucina ligure casalinga e ruspante con ottime materie prime. Cameriera molto gentile, servizio cortese e veloce, menù elencato a voce. Dopo aver scelto il vino (un Nebbiolo 2021, Az. "Terre del Barolo" di Castiglione Falletto), abbiamo iniziato entrambi con i ravioli, una porzione al sugo di cinghiale e l'altra al sugo di funghi, entrambi buonissimi e molto abbondanti. Abbiamo proseguito poi con la faraona al forno con patate arrosto (erano anni che non ne mangiavo una così buona...) e delle verdure ripiene. Infine i dolci, una panna cotta con i frutti di bosco e la torta di mele. Un'acqua, due caffè e due amari Camatti (questi ultimi offerti), per un conto finale (compreso un piccolo e gradito sconto) di soli 70 Euro in due, che definire onestissimo è perfino riduttivo. Locale consigliatissimo per chi vuole mangiare un'ottima cucina ligure ad un prezzo davvero competitivo. Non vediamo l'ora di tornare! Bravi!

Last night we had dinner at this nice trattoria, located in the Carpenissone area (you have to go up from the valley floor for about 5.5 km along a sometimes rather narrow road). It offers home-made and free-range Ligurian cuisine with excellent raw materials. Very friendly waitress, courteous and fast service, menu listed verbally. After choosing the wine (a Nebbiolo 2021, Az. "Terre del Barolo" from Castiglione Falletto), we both started with the ravioli, one portion with wild boar sauce and the other with mushroom sauce, both delicious and very abundant. We then continued with baked guinea fowl with roasted potatoes (I hadn't eaten such a good one in years...) and stuffed vegetables. Finally the desserts, a panna cotta with berries and apple pie. A water, two coffees and two Camatti bitters (the latter offered), for a final bill (including a small and welcome discount) of only 70 Euros for two, which to define as very honest is even an understatement. Highly recommended place for those who want to eat excellent Ligurian cuisine at a truly competitive price. We can't wait to return! Well done!

16/01/2025: Un piccolo locale nel cuore della città, silenzioso e tranquillo. Una focaccia al formaggio davvero folle: impasto sottilissimo, tanto stracchino e condimenti abbondanti. Da provare anche le schiacciate, senza lievito e molto molto buone pure loro (foto). Ho apprezzato molto la personalità che il ragazzo ha dato alle sue focacce. Servizio molto veloce (compatibilmente con i tempi di cottura, è chiaro). Da non lasciarsi scappare!

02/02/2025: We had dinner with my wife in this trattoria restaurant serving typical Ligurian cuisine located in the Genoese neighborhood of Albaro near Corso Italia at a table inside in the small internal room and with several tables also outdoors. This restaurant is known for the orimi and above all for the homemade pesto which was made by Luca's mother whose name was Lucia, who unfortunately died in December last year but her son Luca continues to follow his mother's recipes with enormous success. For first courses we had trofie with pesto and chestnut trofie with pesto and as second courses a sliced ​​beef with rocket and parmesan and grilled vegetables. For dessert we shared a delicious cheesecake. Everything was good, only the cut, although very good, was a little tough and had a lot of nerves. Numerous welcoming, smiling, competent, friendly and helpful staff while the service was attentive and fast and the prices were right for the quality of the dishes.
