You can take the cable car up for €16 one-way for adults and then take various trails. I did the Madonon, which is quite easy, and then the descent to the valley, which is quite challenging. At the refuge, I ate at the self-service restaurant, which was varied and good. Four of us had two first courses and three main courses, including polenta, cheese, and mushrooms. I spent €80, which I'd say is fair.

Interesting experience. Because it was summer, we took the cable car up and down, which I can confirm is in excellent condition. The cabins are well-maintained and offer a great view of the surrounding landscape. In less than 15 minutes, you reach an altitude of 3,000 meters, with a stopover. Once you reach the top, you can enjoy a fantastic view, where you'll also find a welcoming and well-stocked restaurant. Winter clothing is essential, even in summer. Highly recommended.
