A group of six people from the province of Milan are spending a weekend in Tuscany to unplug from the daily grind. A sublime experience, with a quintessential Tuscan atmosphere and delicious traditional dishes. The owner is a real asset to the restaurant, always available to guests who want something a little more. It's a shame it's over 400 km from home, but if we ever get back, a stop is a must. A heartfelt thank you to the couple who run this place.

We tried this restaurant on the advice of friends and I must say that we were all satisfied, both the meat and the fish were well cooked. I want to call the host that because it gives a good idea of ​​the food, he advised us both on the menu and on the choice of wines.

Excellent food, fantastic atmosphere, very friendly owners, and a dessert menu that's quickly written on a paper placemat. :-) The Morellino pici and tripe are a delight. So is the artisanal gelato. It's a positive note that the owners don't automatically switch to English as soon as they identify you as a tourist (though if necessary, you can certainly communicate in English). This is very authentic and gives me the opportunity to practice my Italian. ;-) The only downside is that we discovered this excellent place only after 20 years in the area. We'll definitely be back!!!

A little piece of paradise! If you're in the area, you can't miss it! It's like going to the Louvre and not seeing the Mona Lisa! It's definitely worth it! Everything was delicious, the staff were friendly, they accept dogs, and they're careful about allergies! It's a wonderful place!!! Highly recommended!!!

Personale gentilissimo, locale incantevole. Carbonara da dimenticare, antipasto buonissimo. I cannolicchi molto buoni. Le acciughe alla povera non buone. Pochissima scelta di vini bianchi. Prezzo super adeguato. Meglio scegliere cose tipiche della zona dove sono bravissimi!

14/09/2025: Let me start by saying that we ate very well; the dishes we ordered were truly excellent and of excellent quality. However, something went wrong with the bill, and so I asked for an explanation. I'll summarize: We ordered two platters of cured meats and cheeses chosen by the chef, two Maremma beef carpaccios (no sides as they were sold out), a bottle of water and a bottle of Fattorie di Magliano Morellino di Scansano DOCG 2020 wine, and two coffees. Finally, the waiter showed up with a bill of 102.50 (which became 102). I have the habit of occasionally doing the math in my head, just like that, due to my professional habits; something doesn't add up, and I ask for an explanation. The waiter panicked, trying everything to get close to the price but failing (he got to €99... although I don't know how he did it), making excuses that the platter wasn't €12 but €14 because there were cheeses (!!). He asked me if I'd included the service charge (which I confirmed... but he calculated it at €3.50 instead of €2.50). You can all get the actual bill by looking at the menu on their website: it comes out to €91 (including €5 for water, which is probably cheaper). I didn't ask for any money back; I left it as a tip. But I won't be back; for me, honesty is essential, as well as quality. Sorry. P.S.: Check your bill every now and then...

Ristorante Dal Meraviglioso

22/09/2025: I was invited for a family dinner and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. To be honest, being local, I hadn't heard much about this place in the past, but my experience was decidedly different. The appetizers—seafood salad and octopus salad—were excellent. The fried fish was crispy, dry, not greasy, and served in generous portions for the price. The tagliolini with clams were truly exquisite, and the tuna steak, accompanied by roasted potatoes and grilled vegetables, was simply sublime. It's true: sometimes you don't appreciate the quality of the food. Personally, I prefer to spend a few euros more but enjoy a properly cooked dinner—and here the prices are more than fair for the excellent quality. Compliments to the entire staff: well done, well done, and still well done! This place will surely become a great destination for those looking for good dinners.
19/09/2025: Impeccable service from the owner, who explains what you're eating. Excellent ingredients used. Special mention for the pasta dish and the tuna. The sweet and sour liqueurs (house-made) are superb.
