La Staccionata In Cerchiara di calabria

We ate in this place on the occasion of a wedding anniversary, on St. Stephen's Day. The environment is rustic and welcoming, a little out of the way, immersed in the Cerchiara plain. We tasted about ten starters, including aubergines in oil, cannellini beans, livers (not exceptional), tripe with potatoes, potatoes and peppers (normal), cured meats, cheeses etc..., a good pasta with mushrooms, rags (the only discordant note because the meat was tough), lemon escalopes (good) and various side dishes. They couldn't help but end with a well-presented pineapple, bitters and coffee. Fair prices and overall satisfying.

Dinner with 17 friends. I read negative reviews about the smell outside, I think it's normal if you go to a farm with animals nearby, just dine inside. Starters of cured meats, cheeses and very good hot dishes with generous portions. Pizza in the norm. Staff very kind and available to all our requests despite arriving at 10pm. After the bad experience we had a few kilometers away, without mentioning any names, Locanda della Oak, at the same price (30 euros per person including drinks) above all we ate without going without food, we also received ice creams, bitters and coffee.
