Highly recommended! The staff is friendly, professional, and happy to chat with anyone. The food is excellent and reasonably priced, especially compared to other nearby restaurants. We had the spaghetti carbonara, the grilled chicken, and the veal loin: everything was delicious. The potatoes were exceptional. Shoutout to the guy I believe to be the manager, who welcomes customers and makes them feel at home. His voice, reminiscent of Giobbe Covatta, makes the conversation even more enjoyable. Thanks also to the young man who served us at the table, who was competent and very kind. Congratulations to everyone, and we hope to return soon!

Family atmosphere, attentive service, and quality food. It would be better if the menu specified the ingredients, such as herbs (pepper, etc.) in typical local dishes. Just outside the city center, but very convenient, opening right on time and never earlier.

Lovely atmosphere, attentive, fast, and very friendly staff. I have to say this is the place I liked the most in Florence. Despite being right in the center, it has retained a touch of authenticity despite the influx of tourists. The prices are slightly lower than other trattorias. The dishes I ate (two different soups) were fabulous. The cantucci and vino santo for dessert were excellent. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return.

The waiters are super kind, and depending on your food choice it may take a bit yet everything is wonderful.
Bistecca a la fiorentina was marvelous, could help myself to close my eyes for more pleasure.

Trattoria Spada in Florence: a truly excellent experience. Leonardo and Matteo were kind and professional.
Excellent steak and, overall, authentic cuisine with authentic flavors and quality ingredients.
The atmosphere is welcoming, warm, and genuinely Tuscan, just like a true Florentine trattoria.
Compliments to the entire staff. I will definitely be back.

Thomas was exceptional. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does. He is full of passion, energy, and attention to detail. His service elevated the entire experience and honestly made my night. Easily one of the best waiters I’ve had. I would want Thomas at every restaurant I go to.

The lasagna was also very delicious, and although it's not in the photo, the tripe, a local Florentine dish, was also very tasty.
The tripe has a fishy smell at first and is a bit peculiar, but the tomato sauce was delicious and went down well. As I got used to the smell, it became more and more delicious and I kept saying "delicious, delicious" as I ate.
The wine was also delicious. The wine wasn't particularly well-formed and I didn't know what to choose, so I asked the waiter, who was very gentlemanly and cool, and the wine he recommended was also delicious!
It's cheap and delicious, so I can't help but order it ☺️
