La Solita Zuppa In Chiusi

We had a lovely dinner here — four adults and two children. The menu offers a great variety of interesting local Tuscan dishes. It’s amazing to be able to taste recipes from the Middle Ages while living in the 21st century. As for the food quality, to be honest, I didn’t find anything truly unique or extraordinary. However, if you’re curious to explore medieval Tuscan cuisine, this is a great place to do it. I highly recommend the soup — the tartare was absolutely wonderful, and so was the crostino.

If you are looking for the maximum taste and authenticity that this part of the Tuscany region can offer, you absolutely must not miss the "La solita zuppa" restaurant. The quality of the ingredients, the skill with which they are combined together, the elegance of the service and the intimate atmosphere, cared for in the smallest details, will leave you speechless. There is no other place in the area that offers the same quality/price ratio, nor that reinterprets the typical flavors of the place so well without altering the millenary tradition. In short, a stop that is absolutely obligatory if you pass by these parts. Enjoy your meal!

Tasty place, at the entrance to Chiusi, in via Porsenna, with convenient parking along the walls from which you can enjoy a magnificent view, especially in the evening, mentioned in the Michelin guide. We dined in the outdoor terrace, caressed by a fantastic breeze, savoring tasty foods of Tuscan cuisine. Young and friendly staff. We ate chianina tartare and roast beef with herbs as appetizers, carrot parmigiana and meatballs in tomato sauce with potatoes, sipping a Nobile di Montepulciano from the Pietra del Diavolo winery, a sage and ginger ice cream split in half and coffee with cantucci. We had a great time.

Delicious lunch in a lovely town!

Questo caratteristico locale è diventato un vero must ogni volta che siamo di passaggio per queste deliziose lande, un posto veramente imperdibile dove la qualità si sposa perfettamente con il rispetto per la tradizione e per i buoni piatti di una volta, fatti con la stessa dovizia e lo stesso amore che ci mettevano le nostre nonne. Menù molto vario, con tantissimi piatti interessanti. Molto buone le zuppe, senza dimenticare gli ottimi primi rigorosamente fatti in casa con succulenti abbinamenti di salse e ragù che ti lasciano letteralmente estasiato. E che dire dei piatti di carne, che in questa terra la fa da padrona, ottimamente cucinati dal bravissimo chef. Interessante anche la carta dei dessert. Dulcis in fundo, la carta dei vini, con ottime etichette locali, regionali e non solo che danno il "la" ad una cena indimenticabile. Una parola per l'ottimo personale, sempre disponibile ed estremamente gentile e professionale per un servizio veloce e puntuale. Un ottimo locale, dove gustare tutta la bontà della cucina toscana.

Osteria molto carina e molto tipica, con osti veraci, personale attento, ambiente davvero molto accogliente. Tutto davvero ottimo: io ho preso un antipasto misto di cinta senese e una tagliatella con carciofi e ragù bianco, davvero ottima, mio figlio delle belle tagliatelle al ragù toscano e mio marito un delizioso cinghiale e delle patate da sogno. Il caffè poi è una vera chicca: viene presentato con un servizio di ceramica dipinta a mano da portarselo a casa per quanto è bello :) e oltretutto il caffè è delizioso. Siamo stati proprio bene! E grazie per il regalino al bambino, sono gesti sempre apprezzati.
