La Solita Zuppa In Chiusi

We chose La Solita Zuppa restaurant in the historic center of Chiusi, drawn by the excellent reviews, and we can say that our expectations were fully met. I highly recommend making a reservation: the restaurant filled up quickly, and without a reservation you risk being disappointed. We were greeted with great warmth and escorted to our table in a well-kept, clean environment with attention to detail, even in the table setting. The service was impeccable: the waitress immediately offered water and clearly explained how to consult the menu via QR code. We chose traditional dishes: pici, soup, and a truly delicious osso buco. Everything was perfect, beautifully presented, and above all, delicious. The coffee was also splendid, served alongside homemade sweets, a selection of sugars, and chocolates: an elegant and much-appreciated finishing touch. A truly perfect choice. We are group of four went to the La Solitaire Zappa on Saturday 14th February. As soon as entering, we were welcomed by the staff and the owner. Being so patient and enthusiastic about food, the owner explained everything that we ought to know before ordering our meals. I felt like we had entered a food museum with so many things that we’ve learned about food in Tuscany. The menu includes so many choices, and eventually we ordered fried artichokes, cold meats, pasta with truffles, stewed beef cheeks with grape leaves and more, plus a bottle of 15 years old wine. All dishes came with beautiful presentations and tasted delicious; the service was prompt and professional; the price was reasonable… We left the restaurant with complete satisfaction, and would love to go back again soon.

Passing through Chiusi, we stopped for lunch. What can I say? Everything was truly excellent, right down to the desserts and coffee, served with some lovely little pastries. Reasonably priced.

If you're in the area, go there. The trip is worth it; the staff is friendly and helpful. Traditional cuisine with top-quality products. Excellent and extensive wine list. Courtesy, hospitality, and expertise. And every penny is well spent. Compliments to the usual soup; you can't find anything like it.

We had an absolutely delicious dinner here! The staff was so helpful and fun! The parmigiana starter was amazing!! We had the stew beef - excellent, the spices beef cheek - melt in your mouth (which had a curry undertone) and the stewed boar was on point! We had to dip into some delish desserts! The cheesecake was one of the best we tried in a long time (we had it with pear.... excellent). Chocolate ganache was perfect and a solid Catalan Cream!! If we are ever back here we will absolutely come back for more food experiences!!! Thank you!!!

A feminine excellence: courtesy, quality, and a surprising finale! ​A two-hour stop in Chiusi turned into a memorable experience thanks to this restaurant. We were welcomed by an all-female staff, highly trained and with a passion that shone through in every detail. ​We started with a divine flan, followed by Pici all'Aglione: simply exquisite, with the true flavor of tradition. The artisanal tiramisu is top-notch (they even make the ladyfingers in-house!). ​The final touch of class? The coffee ceremony, served alongside a personalized and highly original dessert buffet: a fun and thoughtful way to end on a high note. If you're passing through Chiusi, this place is a must-see. The quality is top-notch and the management impeccable. Congratulations to everyone!

Friendliness and value go hand in hand at this restaurant. The traditional cuisine is excellent, with dishes paired with wines. Perfect. Go there, you won't regret it...in fact, you'll be back, just like I did!

A good, modern, country osteria. Outdoor terrace with umbrella-covered tables and spacious, bright indoor dining rooms. The menu focuses on good-quality soups and Tuscan dishes. The service is courteous and fast. Prices are reasonable. P.S. Returning for dinner after a few months, I appreciated the cuisine and the quality of the dishes even more.
