La Sogliola In Ribera

Friends invited us to try this restaurant, and we booked for 10 pm. Once we arrived, we found a bit of a mix-up and found ourselves waiting about 10 minutes. Afterwards, we sat down and, of course, tried the XXL Menu (because it's all or none, given the rules). The staff were kind and attentive, and the owner was always among the diners to greet them and take photos and videos. A menu without a main course seems strange, but it's not necessary...we left most of the first courses because we were already full from the appetizers. The portions were "oversized" and excellent value. I recommend 💯!

Five well-deserved stars. The ass has the taste!!! At Ristorante La Sogliola, you can eat real fresh fish, cooked well and without fuss. For €35 per person, they'll bring you a jaw-dropping XXL menu, with a never-ending selection of appetizers. Super-fresh fish, dishes with the "ass has the taste" and flavors that speak for themselves. Welcoming atmosphere, very friendly staff. A must-try and a must-come-back. See you next time

The food was excellent and plentiful, so much so that, being people who like to eat, we were full only with the appetizers and we couldn't finish the first courses. The cuisine was truly excellent, the XXL menu was excellent, but the children's menu could be improved because, when ordering a chicken cutlet, my daughters expected a breaded chicken slice and instead they received a cordon bleu-style cutlet but without any filling. It would be better to offer the breaded slice to keep the children happy. The table service was good. The only small flaw was that the place, being a little small, was quite noisy, people's voices echoed quite a bit. But these are small things, I highly recommend it and I will be back.

We are on holiday in different cities of Sicily when we arrived in the city of Agrigento we decided to take a look at the XXL menu offered by the restaurant La Sogliola, and it is true you pay 35 euros and they give you the menu, we were satisfied with the price and the quality of the food and everything was made even more pleasant by the good treatment of the staff and Chef Piero La Sogliola I recommend it

A positive experience at this restaurant. The XXL Menu includes 10 appetizers, two first courses, water, wine, and sorbet, costing €35 per person. The food was generous, and the appetizers were good. The only thing that needed improvement were the mussels (practically tasteless). I recommend improving this. As for the first courses, I preferred the scampi risotto, which was truly excellent. However, with the lobster busiate pasta, I occasionally felt something hard between my teeth (bits of lobster skin). I assume it wasn't filtered properly. Everything was so plentiful that we took it away in trays. The waiters were courteous, but they didn't pay much attention if they ran out of water or napkins at the table. Otherwise, the atmosphere was nice, a bit noisy. The portions were incredibly generous, making it impossible to eat everything. The quality was average. I recommend it.

The place is beautiful and clean, the food is excellent, the courtesy and elegance are excellent, relaxation is guaranteed. We will be back.

I booked on August 13th for the 15th, and they gave us a third serving. But I'd say we ate very well; everything was tasty and fresh. All the staff were very friendly, and especially Piero, who knows how to manage everything. Recommended.

Menu piero la soglio xxl spettacolare è buonissimo e staff formidabile congratulazioni al proprietario accogliente cibo straordinario e massima allegria
