The three of us had a carbonara, a gluten-free carbonara, and a pizza. The carbonara was fantastic!!! The gluten-free one, too, was amazing!! The pizza was delicious. The gluten-free desserts were also excellent!! The staff was incredibly kind and friendly, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. If you're in the area, I recommend stopping here for a lunch or dinner you'll remember for a long time!

Great restaurant, friendly, hardworking, and helpful staff, incredibly good gluten-free options (we've never had such delicious gluten-free focaccia or pizza), and a lovely atmosphere. Reservations are recommended if you want to dine outside.

The food was amazing- so good we went twice. Excellent gluten free options (the best pizza we had in our entire week in Rome!) Service was impeccable! We were served by Fausto twice and he was so good with our kids. Highly recommend this spot - convenient bus from Trastevere as well!

My husband and I kept finding ourselves back here. The pizza was perfectly crisp, tomato sauce addictive and both the traditional and buffalo mozzarella was to die for. My husbands carbanara was so creamy and the desserts were fabulous!

19/09/2025: Sensational! Top two best pasta dishes I ate on the trip. The carbonara is simply divine. Their prosciutto is also 10/10. We ordered shrimp as a secondo piatto, and it was also out of this world. I have nothing but praise. I regret not getting dessert, but we were already satisfied. The restaurant is family-run, and everyone is so sweet. Even the nonna helps! It gives off that more "authentic" vibe. I didn't spot any tourists while we were there. We made a reservation with the help of Google Translate, as they only speak Italian, but it was very relaxed. We saw people arrive without reservations and couldn't get in. I absolutely loved it; definitely my favorite restaurant in Rome. Very welcoming, family atmosphere. Loved it!
09/09/2025: While searching for the location of another restaurant, I happened to encounter a sweet Italian-speaking grandmother at a grocery store to ask for directions. She took me to Cannavota. The interior looked very elegant, and we took her suggestion and sat down with our family. We tried seafood salad, pasta dishes, tiramisu, and a mixed fish platter. For beer, I tried the Menabrea beer, which was delicious. I highly recommend it. Each item was better than the next; it was a feast of flavors. The staff are all wonderful and sweet, and they communicate beautifully. If you're looking for a truly authentic Italian dinner, I highly recommend it.
