La Sirena In Serrara fontana

I was with friends, we stopped in for dinner, and ordered pork and salad. The portion was very small, three small pieces with sauce, not quite soft. The salad was large and would have been enough for two people. The bread was stale and not fresh. They tried to give me a check for something I didn't order. Then they sorted it out and recalculated everything. I wouldn't go there again. I don't recommend it.

This place is truly an experience. The food was excellent. We had a fish from the display case that was baked as well as mixed fried fish and langoustine, it tasted really good. We give the food five stars, the atmosphere was ok but was ruined by the service. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Fawlty Towers, but the older gentleman who was our waiter reminded us of Basil Fawlty. When we came in he was scolding an American couple for not clearing their table quickly enough. It didn't go down well. He was a bit reserved towards us, a bit sullen. Actually a bit angry. To some Swedes he explained why he had to scold the Americans and was even friendly and smiling. However, he continued to be sullen towards us and when we had to pay it took several attempts to get his attention in the small room. We were obviously "riff raff" while others (young girls?) were worth flattering. I thought it was entertaining. My wife didn't feel entertained.

For the food eaten, I spent too much... The food was of poor quality and the prices were too high.

We just ate for four. Three linguine alla pescatore, spaghetti with clams, and fried fish. Everything was delicious. Very pleasant and courteous family-run place. We had a great time. Very good prices.

This evening, mindful of my friend's limited budget, we stopped at "La Sirena" restaurant on Via Roma for pizza. Against all expectations, despite the young age (and immeasurable beauty) of the chef, a longtime friend of mine, the dish we were served was truly excellent, and the service was not bad at all. The price was very reasonable (thanks in part to some small personal considerations). That said, I'm surprised that, despite the quality of the food and the crowds in the streets, the restaurant had so few customers. Needless to say, I highly recommend it.

Although I’ve visited Ischia several times before, I’m genuinely surprised I hadn’t discovered this lovely restaurant until now. I went with a friend, and we decided to try two different dishes: a mixed fried seafood platter and a seafood pasta. Both were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Considering the restaurant is located in a busy, tourist-heavy area of Ischia, the prices were quite reasonable, which made the experience even more enjoyable, the cost of the two dishes and service was 34 Euros. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. One particularly memorable moment was when they offered me a raw shrimp to taste, just to showcase the incredible freshness of their seafood. It was a small gesture, but it really highlighted their passion for quality and hospitality. The combination of great food, fair pricing, and warm service made this visit truly special. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to Ischia.

Great family run fish restaurant, have returned twice! Owner was very approachable and eager to inform through Google translate! Very friendly and welcoming.

Excellent food! We had a verdure plate for starters (very good and plentiful!), spaghetti di mare, also very good, and a pizza with tomatoes, mozzarella, mushrooms, and olives. It was delicious! Definitely worth a visit!
