A delightful trattoria that has been carrying on the Lazio culinary tradition for three generations. The atmosphere is very familiar, making you feel right at home. Classic recipes are lovingly prepared by the chef we've met, and we send our regards to her 💕

A place from another era. Delicious food, well presented, yet unpretentious and generously portioned. The owner and staff were extremely kind. And then there was the engineer, an icon of this town, a very cultured man. Together with the owner's mother, who was also sitting in the dining room, we stayed until 2:30 PM chatting and listening to old stories. Highly recommended to anyone who's not in a hurry and wants to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of this enchanting place. By the way, we're traveling with our dog Shirley, who was very well-behaved and made very welcome.

Their strengths are quality, price, and quantity. Family-run. Parking is easy to find, both inside and outside the building, given the acceptable distances.

For us, this is a magical place: the relaxing atmosphere in Sutri's main square between the clock and the fountain, the ever-smiling and friendly welcome, the attentive and caring service, the occasional joke, and it's magic. To top it all off, the food! We've been to La Sfera D'Oro three times and always had a wonderful meal. Today we tried fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and tagliata with porcini mushrooms: sublime! Homemade wine donuts, with a bonus of their homemade tozzetti, made with local hazelnuts. Wonderful! We'll be back soon and thank all the staff! P.S.: excellent value for money.

21/10/2025: A gem set against a backdrop of a fortress and a view of the lush greenery. A friendly, family-friendly atmosphere, quality traditional cuisine, including homemade pasta made by exceptional chefs. Below-average prices. A place to return to.
03/10/2025: After passing Sutri on the way to Capranica, as you're about to make a left curve, on your right, just beneath a tuff rock face, at street level, you'll notice a handful of garden tables with chairs and checked tablecloths: it's the garden of Trappicò. In this restaurant, rescued from a neorealist film, you might bump into Sordi, Fabrizi, or Vitti, and there wouldn't be anything unusual. Simple but not dreary. The owners will welcome you, besides a mountain of delicious fried artichokes. They're attentive to making you feel comfortable and ready to offer you their classics or, if it's in season, dishes rich in porcini mushrooms. The kitchen is open to the public, the dishes have bold flavors and generous portions. Everything is as it would have been forty years ago, but today. It's time to pay, and this too will be a pleasant surprise, but discover it for yourself.

09/09/2025: Excellent food: I've been wanting to eat at this restaurant/trattoria for a few years, and my expectations were fully met. The first courses, in particular, were delicious, well-seasoned, and incredibly flavorful (pappardelle with wild boar and fettuccine with porcini mushrooms). I'll be back!
