It was a good lunch in a pleasant and relaxed environment, but unfortunately it was ruined by a problem that was magnified by the owner.
Let's start from the beginning: we pass outside the restaurant and we are intrigued because it is simple and at the same time very well-kept, we see the menu and decide to stop for lunch. The waiter who took the order was of few words and personally I would have appreciated more advice and a little more attention. We chose some dishes that we liked a lot, but almost at the end of the meal we fell out and noticed that the oil that was brought to the table had expired 6 months ago. We discreetly called the waiter and pointed this out to him, he apologized, took the oil away and that was the end of the matter.
My companion went in to pay and to report the incident to the owner, he came out and told us with a perplexed face that lunch was offered to us. We stopped to understand why it seemed excessive to us, when the owner comes out and criticizes us from a distance of several tables and honestly made me feel very uncomfortable. We left really disappointed because there was no attitude that showed the desire to confront and apologize for what happened. I am so disappointed because we ate well and I would have liked to return ... I would have preferred to pay because the lunch was worth it. What a shame!

È stato un buon pranzo in un ambiente piacevole e rilassato, ma purtroppo è stato rovinato da un problema che è stato ingigantito dal titolare.
Partiamo dall’inizio: passiamo fuori dal locale e rimaniamo incuriositi perché semplice ed allo stesso tempo molto curato, vediamo il menù e decidiamo di fermarci a pranzo. Il cameriere che ha preso l’ordine è stato di poche parole e personalmente avrei apprezzato più consigli e qualche attenzione in più. Abbiamo scelto dei piatti che ci sono piaciuti molto, ma quasi alla fine del pasto ci è cascato l’occhio e abbiamo notato che l’olio che ci è stato portato a tavola era scaduto da 6 mesi. Con discrezione abbiamo chiamato il cameriere e gli abbiamo fatto notare questa cosa, lui si è scusato, ha portato via l’olio e si è chiuso lì il discorso.
Il mio compagno è entrato per pagare e per segnalare l’accaduto anche al titolare, è uscito e ci ha detto con faccia perplessa che il pranzo ci è stato offerto. Ci siamo fermati per capire perché ci sembrava eccessivo, quando esce il titolare e da una distanza di diversi tavoli ci critica e onestamente mi ha fatta sentire molto a disagio. Siamo andati via veramente dispiaciuti perché non c’è stato nessun atteggiamento che facesse traspirare la voglia di confrontarsi e scusarsi per quanto accaduto. Sono tanto delusa perché abbiamo mangiato bene e mi sarebbe piaciuto tornare… avrei preferito pagare perché il pranzo meritava. Che peccato!

We sat down and really enjoyed what we ate, later we realized that the oil we used to season the dishes had expired 6 months ago. We pointed it out to the waiter who kindly apologized. When I went to pay I asked for a discount, to be ironic and have a discussion with the owner who perhaps had not been informed of what had happened. The owner responded rudely to me, later he even went out of the restaurant to vent about the joke with a smile, which could also have been misinterpreted, but there was no openness on his part in wanting to understand and delve deeper.
It must be recognized that he still offered us lunch, that's why the review I'm writing is sufficient.
I'm sorry because we couldn't understand each other because the owner didn't give me the opportunity to have a discussion, the focus was not the price of lunch. I'm sorry that he made us feel like beggars, almost on par with those who serve oil that has expired 6 months ago.

Great, intimate restaurant with very nice service. Of the restaurants I have visited so far in the Padua-Verona-Venice region, I will remember this one the best. I recommend the cheese selection.

Las comidas son excelentes, pero esperan pagar entre un 20% y un 30% más que otros restaurantes con menús similares. Podemos recomendar el polpo y hte Taglioni y también la lasaña con espárragos era muy agradable. El servicio es muy bueno. Necesitas tener suerte o reservar con antelación.
