La Sartania In Salerno

Watch out for a bad day... maybe that's what happened to me! 🤔 Some difficult requests really seem to bother the waitress: menu, meatballs, ice... 😔 The heated exchange between waitress and chef is quite typical... like a "swear word" in Rome... 🤣 But the food was good, worth it! 💪🏻😉 #secondchance?

Highly recommended for a casual dinner, serving simple, authentic dishes. The owner is friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for an old-fashioned trattoria with typical Cilento flavors in Salerno, this is the place. Exquisite appetizers, excellent first courses, and homemade desserts. Excellent value.

Simply amazing, I’m belgian and lved in northern Italy in the 70-80’s. In la sartania, I’ve found back what I experienced then. I was surrounded by locals (always a very good sign). I was alone so I could listen and hear about suggestions made to my neighbours, I followed them. No point to tell you here what they were, there were probably day’s proposals. Conclusion, delicious and praised by locals. Bottle of wine, antipasti and pasta 1 pax (30€)

Came with a couple of friends who had been here before. Tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood away from the sea front. Such a little gem that I never would have come to. Had antipasti and pasta and lots of wine. I was too full for the meat course. We were eating with local families which was such a nice experience. Top quality food. Ignore any bad reviews. They are fake. This place is superb home cooked food.

Fantastico! The pasta (raviolo) with zucchini and sausage was sublime- food I will remember forever! We've visited many times and always great food and atmosphere. Angelo is very friendly and kind and very efficiently sorts everything. His wife makes the most incredible torta di aranchia - it's a must!

Ein wunderbares kleines Restaurant. Die Bedienung war superfreundlich und schnell. Das Essen (haus- und handgemachte Pasta mit Ragout) ganz großartig. Die Preise sind mehr als vernünftig! Es ist zugegebenermaßen etwas außerhalb des Zentrums und das Flair etwas schlicht, das sollte aber auf gar keinen Fall abschrecken! Eine echte kleine Perle!

Nous avons passé une soirée inoubliable au restaurant La Sartania à Salerne et nous sommes encore sous le charme ! Dès notre arrivée, l'accueil fut des plus chaleureux et attentionnés, nous nous sommes sentis immédiatement à l'aise. Le chef nous a proposé un assortiment d'antipasti de charcuteries et légumes locaux, préparés avec un goût exquis, une entrée en matière parfaite qui a titillé nos papilles. Ensuite, nous nous sommes laissés tenter par les pâtes au ragoût, un vrai délice qui a su nous transporter par sa richesse et ses saveurs authentiques. Mais le véritable coup de cœur de la soirée fut les polpettes : elles nous ont littéralement transportés, un pur bonheur culinaire ! La Sartania est une adresse à ne pas manquer à Salerne. La qualité des produits, le talent du cuisinier et la gentillesse du personnel font de ce restaurant une expérience gastronomique mémorable. Si vous passez a Salerne, n'hésitez pas à y venir, il n'est pas dans le centre et il vous faudra peut-être marcher un peu, mais je vous assure que ça en vaut vraiment la peine.
