The atmosphere was homey and rustic, with vintage posters and charming details reminiscent of the Bologna football team. The staff was very kind and friendly.
There were four of us and we had three first courses and a second course:
- the tagliatelle were a little too al dente for my taste, but the ragù was excellent;
- the lasagna with ragù was plentiful and really good;
- tortellini with parmesan cream were really well-made, cooked well, and the parmesan cream was delicate;
- the cotoletta alla bolognese (split between four people) was my first time trying it and I found it heavy. I don't know if I could have finished it all.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience, recommended.

We were looking for a place to eat because we hadn't booked anywhere and here we found a table. The staff was very friendly, the food was delicious!!!! (I had the balanzoni and my partner had the tagliatelle with ragu, and we shared the vegetable custard and the tiramisu). Generous portions and fair price! 100% recommend

A casual eatery in Bologna's historic center. The staff is young and knowledgeable. Good food and reasonable prices considering the location, just off Via dell'Indipendenza.

We went for lunch; honestly, I expected something more from a typical Bolognese trattoria.
The prices are high for the quantity and quality of the dishes, which are good but not exceptional.

We'd already been there on a previous trip to Bologna for lunch and went back because we'd eaten really well. Yesterday, in addition to trying an excellent lasagna verde and a delicious cotoletta alla bolognese, we had fun with the super friendly waitress, Alice. She joked with us and was always smiling; a quality that I think is incredibly important for someone who works in a public place. We finished it all off with a vodka and bitters sorbet.
