We found the restaurant by chance. We received a great welcome from the staff. The food and service were also up to par. The cold cuts platter is truly exquisite and a special mention goes to the tortellini with parmesan cream. Highly recommended.

We found this place on the fork with some great reviews and decided to give it a try. I think the quality-price ratio is a little unbalanced because compared to other places the prices are in line (high, as is normal in the center of a city) but the quality of the food is perhaps not as high as elsewhere. We had a courgette pie on parmesan fondue which was truly out of this world. The cutting board with crescentine is excellent. As first courses we had the famous green lasagna which was good, yes, but not exceptional. We also had a pasta with butter and ham which wasn't that great. For dessert we had the tenerina cake with mascarpone cream (excellent!) and a tiramisu that was too "eggy". We paid over €60. The place is very central and really nice in its setting. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We didn't have a bad meal, but I don't know if I would go back.

Excellent restaurant in the center of the city where you can taste typical Bolognese products and dishes. Friendly staff. Nice place.

Come è nostro costume, ogni tanto, torniamo in qualche ristorante che siamo andati in passato, per vedere se la qualità del locale è rimasto la stessa o se è cambiata. Nel caso della Salsamenteria di Bologna, in pieno centro storico, a poche centinaia di metri dalle due famosissime Due Torri (ora delimitate da una barriera di metallo, per il restauro in corso della Garisenda) e da Piazza Maggiore, tutto è rimasto come era stato tempo fa. Il piatto forte del ristorante, sono tutti i primi, dai tradizionali tortellini in brodo, a quelli asciutti in crema di parmigiano, alle tagliatelle al ragù, alla gramigna alla salsiccia, alle lasagne e alle varie declinazioni dei tortelloni. Tutti rigorosamente fatti a mano nel laboratorio del locale. Meno acuti sui secondi, i soliti della cucina felsinea, come la cotoloetta alla bolognese, che variano nella qualità, a seconda delle volte. Il menù offre anche tigelle e crescentine fritte con affettati e formaggi misti. Da preferire le crescentine, che vengono cucinate sempre al momento. Per quanto riguarda i dolci, si va dal classico mascarpone, a qualche raviola e semifreddo. Quest'ultimo, spesso esaurito. L'arredamento del locale è molto sobrio con le ormai omni presenti, in molti ristoranti del centro storico bolognese, tovagliette e tovaglioli di carta. "Mise en place" che rompe, purtroppo, con la tradizione bolognese della tavaglia e del tovagliolo in tessuto, dando così un tocco, negativo, di apparecchiatura turistica che non è, per fortuna, del ristorante e del suo menù. Il personale è sempre molto gentile e attento. Il rapporto qualitè/prezzo è più che sufficiente.

Pranzo super in questo vicolo nel centro storico, ma lontano dalla folla. Il Tagliere con tigelle e crescentine leggere e gustosissime, primi e dolci di più (tortelloni con ricotta paradisiaci). Servizio attento e sorridente, prezzo più che giusto. Consigliatissimo
