La Rotonda In Galati mamertino

09/10/2025: The place is welcoming, beautifully decorated with all the chef's awards. The service is perfect and very pleasant, but I was disappointed not to have been able to enjoy a pizza because it's not offered at lunchtime. I then ordered a dish that I love: a shrimp and citrus risotto. The shrimp were delicious, but I didn't appreciate the risotto, which was more like al dente rice with butter. I didn't find the citrus flavor. I was expecting a creamier dish. As for my son, who ordered the carbonara pasta, he was more respectful than me, eating his entire dish, even though the spaghetti was soaking in a lumpy, tasteless white sauce that I didn't like either. Only the bacon gave the appearance of carbonara. This highly rated restaurant attracted us, but we are only two French people who probably didn't appreciate Italian cuisine at its true value. 11/09/2025: I liked the location. Chef Onofrio is a very welcoming person. The menu is extensive, the staff is professional, and the service is excellent. The interior terrace is beautiful. The ingredients are good quality. I think the dishes could be better stirred. A good experience. We had fish for dinner, and the pizza is a must.
