La Rotonda In Porto sant'elpidio

Little place by the sea, we set up there with an umbrella but for dinner, we hadn't tried the place yet. The food was excellent in terms of quality and prices were also good. For two we spent €66 with an appetizer, first course, wine, water and coffee. Good service.

We ate excellent fish (hot appetizer and mixed fried fish), with generous portions. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable, and the live music duo was much appreciated.

I come to this restaurant often and I'm very happy to do so. I've never found a seafood restaurant with such quality and value as La Rotonda. I also chose it as my wedding venue. I highly recommend it to anyone; the entire menu, from appetizers to dessert, is always delicious and top-quality. Each course is generous. And finally, the service is AMAZING; everyone is very kind and always super helpful. I eat there often and have never, and I mean NEVER, been disappointed. 5 stars because you can't give more. We had lunch at La Rotonda restaurant two days in a row. The place is welcoming and bright, with a splendid view of the sea. The spaghetti with clams was delicious and plentiful, with lots of clams! The alici scottadito were also delicious, and while we waited, they served us marinated anchovies with bruschetta and warm focaccia, which was very welcome.

La Rotonda proved to be an excellent restaurant for our dinner. The wait staff was courteous, welcoming, and always smiling. All the dishes we tried were excellent! The presentation was meticulous, and the fish was fresh and of the highest quality. Highly recommended!!!

Right on the sea... Superlatives: hospitality, service, excellent seafood... I've been coming here for years, whenever I have the chance...

The waiting time for the food is about an hour. The dining space is very comfortable. The seafood pasta, fried fish, mussels, and clams are all very fresh and delicious. It is worth recommending👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Tagliolini abundant and delicious, followed by the best skewers I have ever tasted, very dry and crispy fried food. The very nice waiter to complete everything. The only sore point is that after this meal I have to wait until midnight for a swim... I will remain stranded on the shore. See you soon!!!

Long waits, crowded place and not enough staff to satisfy everyone in honest times, we had a mixed hot and cold appetizer 4 courses I would say excellent value for money, only really basic note, in the clam suatè the soffritto is made with garlic and rosemary, the result completely covers the flavor of the clam becoming almost a second of meat. Gnocchi with scampi and cherry tomatoes, good tomato sauce but you could only taste that there were 4 whole scampi but for the rest the flavor of the same, was completely absent. Chitarrine of the chef in the norm perhaps too much pasta compared to the quantity of fish, fried fish well cooked, and here we come to the sore point. To finish I ordered a tuna fillet seared with sesame, the first time it arrived completely overcooked, the second completely raw even to the heart almost frozen. I gave up. At the end of the bill however I was not charged. Good location, shame that all the kitchen staff is Indian.. there is not an Italian who cooks. (All this obviously remaining on the subject of cuisine and tradition, and not discrimination of origin) The result is that the restaurant and its dishes suffer. At the end of the day the fish used is very fresh, but the ability to cook it Is not up to par. Too bad.
