Tasty and light, approved by a true Apulian who has eaten panzerotti! Quick service even when the restaurant is full, open kitchen, located in the center of Polignano. The only negative is that you have to wait for the tables to become free to grab a seat, there is no table service and you are called when the order is ready through a previously assigned number. The panzerotto wrapping is brilliant, designed to unwrap it and eat it without getting dirty! Promoted and recommended!

As a big fan of Panzerotti, I’m always excited to try new spots. La Rotellina has been around for a while, and I had eaten there before, but never took the time to leave a proper review. When I walked in, the first thing I noticed was how clean and tidy the place looked. That’s not something you always see in places that work a lot with flour and dough, so that made a good first impression. I ordered the classic Panzerotto, filled with mozzarella and tomato. Since I was the only customer at the time, the service was very fast, which was nice. However, things went downhill when the Panzerotto arrived. It was extremely hot, to the point that I couldn’t take a bite right away without burning my mouth. So I had to wait a few minutes for it to cool down. Unfortunately, during that time, the dough went from being crispy and fluffy to soggy. When I finally ate it, I realized there wasn’t much filling inside—just a small amount of mozzarella and tomato—so most of what I was eating was just dough. The flavor was okay, but overall, the experience wasn’t great. It felt a bit disappointing, especially for a place that specializes in Panzerotti.

Imperdibile sosta a Polignano a Mare per assaporare un panzerotto davvero eccellente: fritto leggero, poco unto, con ripieno abbondante e di qualità. Che dire? Un motivo in più (fra i tantissimi) per tornare a Polignano.
