It wasn't a planned stay but the owners were delightful to us, we had quite a few problems and they helped us a lot. We had a great time. Thanks again!!

Excellent quality raw materials processed in a decent manner. The meat and vegetables from their garden are excellent. Very fast service even though there was a trip. A decent tavern.

Complimenti al cuoco/a in assoluto,ottima qualità,ottimi sapori e accoglienza.Non era previsto il mio arrivo qui e ho dovuto chiedere un po' in giro,quindi mi hanno consigliato qui sia per il pernottamento che per la cena.Che dire ringrazio chi mi ha consigliato.Parte adorabile anche il piccolo spazio con tavolino e silenzio

We were on the highway and we exited at Candela because we were hungry and only encountered pizzerias. We took advice from a local lady and were very satisfied. Delicious food and friendly and helpful owner. Modest prices

Candela leuk een plaatsje geschikt om wat te eten voor lunch(pranzo) terwijl we onderweg waren naar Ceglie M. Bij toeval hier terecht gekomen, na een statige entree zie je 2 grote deuren, ik vroeg in mijn beste Italiaans of we konden eten met ons tweeën (en een hond). Achter de statige deuren was de eetzaal en konden we een tafeltje uitzoeken. Het was lekker bedrijvig in het restaurant, maar niet te. Verder was er wel naar goed Italiaans gebruik een TV in de eetzaal (gelukkig zonder geluid). Je kon a la carte eten of het menu van de dag kiezen, ik koos voor orichietti pomodorine  pistacchio e bufala en een saltimbocca, verder bestelde we een salata mixta en patatas frita bij, een 1/2 liter wijn. Het eten liet even op zich wachten maar was heerlijk. Aan het eind nog een koffie na, deze heerlijke maaltijd koste slechts 40 Euro.
