Francesca and Giovanni are two exceptional guys in their field. Eating in their Osteria Pop is an experience to be had and repeated whenever possible because it is always satisfying and never repetitive (the menu changes periodically and based on seasonality). Giovanni, an ambitious, well-prepared, innovative chef and always looking for the perfect pairing; he takes care of his dishes with great care both from a taste point of view and from a presentation point of view (beautiful and good). Francesca, in the restaurant business for generations, is an incredible hostess, with her smile and kindness she will win you over; She is also very knowledgeable in her field and a sommelier, she loves what she does and it shows, she already immerses you in the story of every dish she presents to you, making you enjoy it with your eyes and mind before with your palate. The tavern is located at the foot of the historic center of Scalea, it has both internal and external seats and all with attention to detail, so much so as to make it a super welcoming environment. The dishes, from the appetizer to the dessert, are all excellent and rich in raw materials produced by the owners themselves or in any case at 0 km. 5 stars with praise for this place, a beautiful reality, in the heart of the city.

The best food in all of Scalea! We immediately made a reservation for another evening. The service is also exceptionally good! An entire lecture can be given for every wine and every beer. A new menu comes out every few days, so it's worth checking the website. We can wholeheartedly recommend Rondinella!

Locale accogliente in pieno centro storico di fronte il palazzo dei principi Spinelli ben arredato, personale cortese attento alle esigenze del cliente, preparato nella spiegazione dei vari piatti , menu diviso in due scelte alla carta o menu degustazione, con prodotti del proprio agriturismo ottimamente cucinati con varianti di pregio , buona la carta dei vini e birra di produzione calabrese. Al termine della cena un ottimo liquore al cedro . Il prezzo nel giusto per la qualità del cibo

Appena entrati siamo rimasti sorpresi dalla sala , molto elegante e sembra proprio di essere in una baita … personale gentile e disponibile, cibo ricercato ma senza allontanarsi troppo dalla tradizione e di ottima qualità, fuori e’ possibile fare una bella passeggiata tra piante di agrumi e animali CONSIGLIATO!

I don't have much to say, except that this place is always a guarantee! I chose the tasting menu with a whole series of courses that really impressed me, especially the cube of cabbage with cod. During the evening I also asked the owner of the restaurant for a particular wine whose name or type I couldn't remember, based only on the flavour: she worked hard all evening to look for something similar, even letting me taste a glass of that free wine. I will come back again
