La Rondinella In Scalea

My partner and I went here for my birthday dinner. What can I say? We had a truly wonderful time. I've been coming to Scalea for years and had always heard good things about it, and now that I've finally been there, I can only confirm that it's perhaps the best place for miles around. The dishes are truly tasty and anything but predictable, simple yet elaborate. The staff was truly kind and made the evening truly special! Thank you! We'll definitely be back!

We stumbled upon this osteria online during our vacation in Scalea... and it was a wonderful discovery! We dined at this osteria on Sunday, August 31st, and it truly deserves a mention: a charming location in the heart of the historic center, meticulously maintained, with indoor and outdoor spaces that make it welcoming and original. The staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable: the waitresses explained the daily specials to us with passion, care, and expertise, winning us over right away. We enjoyed excellent dishes, from the platter of top-quality cured meats to the amazing dessert, with sophisticated pairings and select ingredients. At the end of the dinner, they were very kind and offered us exceptional amari. An experience to remember... highly recommended!

Fantastic experience, everything was top-notch, from the appetizers, to the first courses, to the desserts. The panna cotta was delicious, different from the usual! The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and kind.

We had dinner at this osteria and I can only say good things about everything. The staff were incredibly kind, the place was beautiful and welcoming, and above all, the menu, which changes every week, was extraordinary. Obviously, we couldn't try everything. The appetizer was rich and plentiful, made with homemade ingredients, and the spaghetti aglio olio, just as they make it. Delicious. Highly recommended... WE WILL BE BACK.

We had dinner in this location, unique and original, everything refined and studied to try uovo dante, the gnocchetti nduja and caciocavallo were delicious (even if the nduja predominated, the other 2 people with us did not eat it but the owner at the end of the bill despite it being their problem deducted the 2 gnocchetti from the bill which is not something that everyone does and they were not required to do so) carne arraganata was delicious and the same was true for the various vegetables present in the appetizers, the staff was very knowledgeable in explaining the wines and dishes

Fantastische avond beleefd! In de eerste plaats het allerbeste eten (we kozen voor het gastronomische beleving - 8 gangen met bijpassende drankjes). De topbediening; ondanks de drukte steeds super vriendelijk. Prijs-kwaliteit absoluut top.

Tuve el menú degustación diario, cuatro platos, dos artículos cada plato, con maridaje de vinos, un cóctel local y un digestivo de naranja con los postres. A 48€ esto fue una ganga teniendo en cuenta la alta calidad de los ingredientes regionales y la presentación. El propietario (cuya familia también posee un restaurante agrícola local) pasó mucho tiempo explicando los platos y productos. La mejilla de cerdo estofada y la pasta carbonara de pescado fueron platos destacados. Gran ambiente gastronómico tradicional, animado pero refinado, en general una comida excepcional. Muy recomendable.
