Excellent experience! I went there for dinner with my mom and we were treated fantastically! The service was fast, the waiter was very kind, and the price was fair! They welcomed us with an appetizer, then we ordered seafood gnocchi, tonnarelli cacio e pepe, sautéed mussels, chicory, puntarelle, and desserts. Everything was excellent, but a big shout-out goes to the best chicory I've ever eaten, and the same goes for the cacio e pepe! We live in Perugia, but we'd love to come back if we had the chance!

This is a true Italian innkeeper, always ready with a joke. You should definitely reserve a table in advance, as it gets quite busy even on weekdays after 9 pm. This troteria is absolutely recommended.

I am a medical student who moved to a new apartment right next door to this restaurant. At first, I was hesitant to try a different Italian restaurant because I have so many favorites already. Yet upon walking home, I always see and hear such a lively, boisterous, yet familial atmosphere as I pass by. My roommate and I decided to grab a bite here, and we realized that we are extraordinarily lucky to be near this place. I had assumed the seafood dishes are quite tasty from the menu, and I was exactly right. I’m a simple guy who loves mussels (cozze) and rich saucy pasta, so I get the spaghetti cozze e pecorino every time I pass by. My roommate loved his clam pasta, and we both enjoyed their food so much. I look forward to trying more and more of their menu. The portions are plentiful, and the price is just right. The atmosphere is so endearing and down-to-earth. Bringing your family and friends are a must here, and the staff is so welcoming. The best “mom-and-pop” restaurant I have ever encountered in Rome. They’re the cutest and most authentic folk. They love their craft and company because I saw how much love they put into their work (even careful packaging for just leftovers… like the mannerisms are simply unsung).

I really liked how they cook here — the food was delicious and you can tell it’s made with care and quality ingredients. The pasta portion was perfect — simple, yet very tasty. I also counted the calories using the service mentioned on the photo attached to this review. It turned out to be super convenient and fast — now I honestly recommend everyone try using it for calorie tracking. It makes it so easy to stay on top of your nutrition, especially if you’re watching your macros.

Passing through Rome, four of us dined here after choosing based on local recommendations on Google Maps and Tripadvisor. We ate deliciously and were warmly welcomed. The price was more than fair! Thank you so much, we'll definitely be back as soon as we have the chance.

Best pasta I ever eat in my life! The fish ravioli al limone was so perfect that we ordered another one 😂 I really recommend this place to eat a real Italian pasta! ❤️

Nice atmosphere... the owners are hospitable and even willing to move the fan... Delicious dishes (see photo)... the only flaw is a lot of salt in the fried fish and chips (but perhaps the chef overdid it). Otherwise, nothing to complain about. Prices are average. We'll be back.

We booked by phone and immediately liked their friendliness. The first courses were delicious and generous, both meat and fish. While we waited, they brought us bruchetta with sautéed cabbage and mushrooms. We finished with fried fish. The person serving two forces of nature—strength and friendliness—were their hallmarks. Thank you, we had a great time.
