If you are looking for Piedmontese cuisine with local menus and wines, you are in the right place. The Locanda della Rocca di Camagna is located in the panoramic and ancient village of Camagna (AL). The characteristic environment, furnished with historic furniture from the Monferrato countryside, is intimate, well cared for and clean. The typical dishes are made with quality products, the local wines excellent.

I spent New Year's Eve here (it has never been my passion to spend it in a restaurant due to too much confusion). We had a very good time, the food and wines were excellent, everything arrived well served, hot and properly cooked. Well-kept, elegant and very clean environment. It's not a given on an evening like this, for me it was a pleasant discovery. Very correct quality and price. I will definitely return.

Locale da noi spesso frequentato, ma sempre per l’ottimo fritto misto. Provato sostanzialmente per la prima volta con menù alla carta… che dire, tutto sublime. Difficile scegliere un piatto più buono dell’altro… antipasti sempre spettacolari, risotto ai funghi di altissimo livello e per finire gli immancabili dolci. Consigliatissimo

Interiores rústicos agradables, techos abovedados de ladrillo y al aire libre con una hermosa vista de una casa de piedra vecina. Tuvimos su menú degustación de almuerzo (a las 30 , 00 +) con un plato de entrantes (ternera en rodajas con salsa de atún mayonesa, salamis en rodajas, ensalada Olivier) ; pudín de patatas con salsa de anchoas (bagna cauda) ; dumplings pequeños rellenos (agnolotti) con tres tipos de asados de carne; dumplings de verduras, una rodaja de roulade de conejo. Mucha buena comida con un servicio acogedor y amable; muy amable de ellos para darnos un tour a sus “infiernos”, bodegas subterráneas. Es recomendable reservar o llamar por teléfono antes de llegar.

I went for lunch with my family, we chose the tasting menu which includes cold and hot appetizers, a first course, a meat course and dessert. Everything was well presented, cared for and of excellent quality. We ate in the room facing the infernot and I loved it. We were served by Carlotta who was kind and attentive. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

23/12/2024: Found through Google looking for a restaurant near Aqui Terme, I trusted the reviews found in the photos. They didn't disappoint me. It is a small restaurant and bar with probably a maximum of 30 seats, with small tables that can be joined together or not depending on your needs. There is a small car park, probably 5 spaces, as well as the possibility of parking on the roadside. Rustic, genial place, a real trattoria. No written or QR menu. You are asked directly by the chef and the two waitresses what you want to eat, giving you the choice between different pasta condiments and a couple of second courses. In my case I took pasta with roast sauce, very tasty and delicate, as well as abundant, and cotechino with purée (otherwise there was roast beef). For dessert I had a very good Genoese panettone, but you could choose between fruit, panettone or cheese. Coffee to complete as well as water and a quarter of wine (not taken because then we had to drive). All very fast, kind and with a smile always on their faces. Total cost (fixed price lunch) 13 euros. Definitely worth returning if I'm in the area again.
