Arrived late at a nearby hotel and Googled this restaurant that is closest and reviewed to serve good food with reasonable price. The seats outside were reserved so we had to sit inside. The waiter doesn't understand English but when I asked about WiFi he gave me their password which I used for translating the menu so we could order. Busy as he was by himself the young waiter was able to graciously serve the sudden crowd from the hotel. The food was the best I had so far halfway this tour from France, Spain and Italy going forward.

16/03/2026: We've relied on Lumiere several times for our school parties at the Scuola Normale and have always been extremely satisfied. The staff guarantees availability and organization down to the last detail: room management, music, security, bar service, and cloakroom. Highly recommended for organizing private parties here in Pisa.
08/02/2026: Very kind, I was on crutches and they reserved two seats for me and also assisted me for the entire duration of the event!!

The cuisine is fresh and creative, with dishes that showcase local flavors and high-quality ingredients. I especially recommend trying the daily menu, which is always a surprise and a delight: generous for €18. The service is also very fast and efficient, despite the large number of customers. In short, if you're looking for a restaurant that offers a high-quality dining experience near the Leaning Tower of Pisa at a reasonable price, this is the place. Don't hesitate to book a table and enjoy a fantastic meal! 5/5 stars
