La Ripadoro Agri Ristorante In Chianni

The restaurant is truly charming, with a rural style, offering a tasting menu or à la carte. The €65 Ripadoro menu is a classic, but I found some issues with the food: for the appetizer, all the dishes were already served with a sauce, so I wouldn't have put an enormous amount of mayonnaise in the center of the plate, but rather put it on the side (as is usually served). The suckling pig was rather tough and served with the rind. I ordered a Coke Zero and was brought a local drink, which was already opened, which I unfortunately sent back (it would have been better to ask before opening it if I'd liked something from a different brand). Between the appetizer and the first course, we waited half an hour, but for the rest of the meal, the average wait was 10-15 minutes.

We went for dinner. Very nice place. Young and helpful staff. The food was a bit unusual, but nothing special. A bit expensive.

We were "only" in the restaurant; during a trip to the area, I wanted to see the village on the mountain. Instead of traditional fare, we experienced a Michelin-starred restaurant in a fantastic location with a view. The service was excellent, and we were served several homemade snacks before our meal. The menu is straightforward, which isn't a disadvantage at all. The food itself is top-notch, something you rarely find. It's a real treat. The tagliatella would have benefited from slightly warmer plates, allowing you to enjoy it longer.

A delightful discovery in the small village of Rivalto, in the Pisan hills. A truly high-quality restaurant, with excellent dishes. Beautiful views of the valley... definitely worth the trip.

Beautiful rooms, lovely location. It's a bit remote, but that's inherent to agritourism. The food (breakfast and dinner) is delicious. The staff is very friendly and speaks good English. A crib cost extra, but it's a good and safe crib.

We went to this restaurant for dinner - twice. We were a captive audience as from our accommodation it was the only restaurant within walking distance. The service was quite good, and it was in a brilliant location - but we were all let down by the food. The meals were reasonable but everything was well over-priced for what it was (possibly because they have a captive audience). We oaid $70 for a t-bone steak and it was very ordinary - tough and grisly. We tried a range of different dishes but no one came up with a wow factor. Great environment, but we were really there for the food, which didn't deliver. We didn't stay at the farm stay - we were 700m down the road.

Great fine dining for the senses. We came here thanks to a recommendation from someone on the street. The kitchen was actually closed, but they had no problem giving us the menu and serving us a stunning meal. The appetizers alone were magnificent. A culinary delight with a magnificent view. Come here and enjoy a top-notch meal.

We were here for breakfast. The buffet was small but very tasty, and you could order extra scrambled eggs and omelets. There were savory and sweet options, as well as cereal and juice. The value for money is fantastic. Highly recommended!

The place is quite nice, the dinner was good, the staff professional, but the only thing I didn't appreciate was the price of two glasses of basic wine, which was €20. Excluding the wine, the rest of the bill was reasonable.
