Quiet restaurant. Quite high waiting times. The quality of the food and the portions did not convince me. Not even the environment. I have to go back to evaluate better. Maybe it wasn't the right night.

How did we find this place? Actually this place found us. Whilst having an argument in the street with hubby and daughter on where to eat we were approached by La Quartara restaurant promoter Melanie who recommended La Quatara and so to end our argument in the street we agreed to follow her to this restaurant. The rest is history. Authentic Sicilian food. Delicious. Great serves. Wonderful staff. Wonderful service. Will be returning.

This is our first time in Catania and we discovered this incredibly great restaurant. The food, whether pizza or pasta, was so delicious that I will probably never taste Italian in Germany as well again. For dessert there was tiramisu. For me a 15 out of 10 - very light and still a taste explosion. Prices are absolutely right and the waiters are very nice. We will eat there again. Thumbs up and highly recommended.

16/07/2024: Small takeaway place where you can have lunch at some tables on the pavement opposite, some positioned a little precariously. Friendly staff. I arrived shortly after 2.00 pm, between one commitment and another I had in the Catania ring road, so I didn't return home for lunch, and, at that hour, there wasn't much choice. I took a slice of tuna that was well cooked and well seasoned, but unfortunately cold. In the meantime, the freshly cooked pasta with Catanese masculini arrived: very good, made according to the best Catanese tradition. Half portions of first courses are also served. Coffee was offered to me. It was a nice interlude for a quick lunch. The place was recommended to me some time ago by my son, when he was at university. In fact it is mainly frequented by university students and teachers from the nearby polyclinic. Excellent value for money.
