One of the best, most atmospheric Italian restaurants I've ever been to. Hospitality, kindness, delicious food, the kind of service I wanted. One thing that bothered me was the dogs. I don't think they are suitable for restaurants.

Locale piccolo ma carico, anche se personalmente togliere le luci di Natale. Abbiamo mangiato bene anche se nn c’è una gran scelta del menu. Leggendo anche altre recensioni mi associo dicendo che il cuoco con capelli sciolti , senza nessun cappello con tatuaggi in mostra nn fa una gran bella figura. Inoltre bisognerebbe avere un po’ più tolleranza con i bambini (sopratutto se il locale nn è pieno) e qui mi fermo.

02/11/2024: Pleasant discovery, small location but with a fantastic outdoor area for the summer period. Welcoming, kind and helpful staff. Excellent platters but their strong point is the focaccia. Valid wine list. My point of reference.
11/08/2024: Beautiful location with the possibility of dining outdoors. The wine list is good and the quality/price ratio for the platters is high. Maybe it's because I recently arrived from the Tuscan Maremma where the quality/price ratio is decidedly better. As a Piedmontese from this area, I hope that the restaurant industry doesn't exaggerate with prices just because finally a lot of foreigners arrive here on holiday too.

07/11/2024: Il nostro punto di riferimento a Cocconato, un vero e proprio luogo del cuore dove ritemprare l'anima dagli affanni quotidiani. Un osteria dove trovare tutti i sapori della cucina casalinga locale, con le mille sfumature stagionali. Tutto è buono in questo delizioso angolo di Monferrato e i sapori sono quelli di una volta accompagnati dagli ottimi e profumati calici del territorio. Le due deliziose e gentili donzelle che servono ai tavoli, fan di tutto per accontentare i clienti, accompagnandoli in questo squisito percorso fatto di sapori e profumi. Locale consigliatissimo. Prenotazione consigliata sempre.
04/08/2024: A great restaurant in Cocconato, go there with your eyes closed, it’s 100% validated. A nice setting with bottles of wine everywhere and a cellar that you can visit. There is therefore a very nice wine list by the bottle and by the glass (there is local wine from local with wine produced in the town itself). The food is great, well mastered, tasty and fine, a treat from start to finish.
