An excellent mid-valley restaurant, far from the more famous upper valley destinations. Exilles always has its charm, and this place is no exception. Worth a visit!

We went after I'd been keeping an eye on this restaurant for a while. Everything was delicious, from the charcuterie board to the fettuccine with white wild boar ragù, and then the venison polenta. Everything was excellent, and the atmosphere was very calm. I felt right at home.

I went for dinner on a Saturday evening. I didn't know it existed, and on my way back from the mountains, I looked for a convenient but unorganized place. I made a reservation a short time in advance, yet the staff was able to save a table for three. Inside, all seats were full. The courtesy and respect shown by the waiters and wait staff was thoughtful and much appreciated. The dishes range from Piedmontese to more home-style cuisine. Pan-fried pizza with some innovative flavors. The extreme kindness and hospitality made us feel "at home." At the end of the dinner, we even left a tip for this. Recommended!

12/03/2026: This is THE pub! A basement space, huge spaces (with a smoking area), plenty of tables, great beers, and burgers! When they show football matches, everything becomes even more magical!
20/02/2026: It's a crazy, huge place, you wouldn't expect it. The entrance looks like a hole with just a few tables, but inside, a whole new world opens up. They serve typical pub fare—burgers, fries, etc.—but also other dishes, all top-quality, with excellent meat and a wide variety of choices. I was with a friend, and we were treated with truly admirable kindness and efficient service. As if we were loyal customers. Despite the crowds and the chaos, we felt truly at ease. Thank you!

10/10/2025: While visiting Balme, we found this delightful chalet-restaurant and decided to make a reservation for dinner. It's a delightful and welcoming place, both for its simple, warm decor and for its friendly owners. I love these places and persistently seek them out because the authenticity of the setting matches the simplicity and deliciousness of the dishes offered. I wasn't wrong this time either, and we'll definitely be back as soon as possible. The dishes are prepared with love and skill, delicious, and perfect in every way. Piedmontese cuisine at its finest. The house wine is excellent, and the desserts are a treat for the palate. A final consideration (and a very important one for me) is that there's no annoying television or background music. Just pleasant, polite chatter accompanied by the clatter of plates and cutlery. A rare haven of tranquility these days, one that I hope will last until I have the chance to return.
19/09/2025: Ideal GTA stopover. Comfortable and great food, very helpful owners.
