Platter for two: two slices of each cold cut, a crostini, and two pieces of cheese each, just to give you an idea of ​​the portions. Whether or not they're enough depends on your appetite! Anyway, good products and a good selection of wines. The young and very friendly staff. Very nice atmosphere.

Let's start with the food: a platter of delicious cured meats and excellent, almost superlative crostini. The mortadella and prosciutto deserve special praise. Then the service: a friendly, pleasant, and professional guy. What's the thing you don't expect but instead impresses you? The atmosphere. It's a small place, but with a huge personality, truly original. Well done.

We had dinner at Prosciutteria in Siena with a friend, conveniently booking through their website. The atmosphere is very refined, with a unique, bohemian feel, welcoming and almost homey. The space isn't very large, but I think that's precisely why the atmosphere is more intimate and familiar than other places. We had a tartare and a carpaccio for main courses, and a large salad each: the ingredients were all excellent, and we spent less than €30 each (without wine). The service was fast, friendly, attentive, and cordial, but not intrusive. Prosciutteria is located in the center of Siena, so parking can be a bit tricky if you're unfamiliar with the area, but it's just a few minutes' walk from Piazza del Campo (if you'd like to add a visit). I highly recommend eating here, to enjoy excellent local products in the center of one of the most beautiful cities, at a fair and affordable price.

A location I love, for more unique aperitifs. Excellent quality, a bit pricey, but worth it every now and then. Decent wine selection; my only recommendation would be for the staff to know them better. Side note...the automatic reservation system doesn't work, no text messages. Otherwise, I recommend it.

La Prosciutteria isn’t a restaurant but a modern revival of the old fiaschetteria osteria: pared-back menus, good wine, and vintage interiors. I ordered the taglieri board: a generous spread of charcuterie, cheeses, breads, spreads, salad, and fruit. Everything was fresh and substantial, though the bread held it back from being excellent (7/10). Siena’s own pasta, pici cacio e pepe, arrived creamy, cheesy, and properly timed; with sharper cheese and more pepper it could have been outstanding (6.5/10). The dark, intimate rooms evoke a bygone atmosphere, more suited to lingering Tuscan nights than the Tuscan light.

The Chianina tartare was very good, the service excellent.
