Authentic Experience at the La Poiana Cheese Factory The visit to the La Poiana Cheese Factory was an engaging experience of great cultural value. We were accompanied by Arianna, an extremely knowledgeable and passionate guide: I truly commend her for her expertise and ability to clearly convey the richness of the world of cheesemaking. The visit to the maturation rooms, where the cheeses rest during the long aging process, was very interesting. The direct observation of the cheesemaker's work was also fascinating, with particular attention to the maturation of the cheeses in whey, allowing us to understand the various stages of production. The tour concluded with a visit to the stables, where we met the splendid Pezzata Rossa cows, raised with care and attention to animal welfare. An authentic, educational experience, highly recommended for those who wish to discover the true art of cheesemaking and the traditions of the Grana Valley.

When we pass through the valley we always stop to buy cheeses here, they are delicious.
