La Pizza di Egizio In

We were with friends first time in Genoa and after many hours of our trip we decided to visit La Pizza di Egizio. That was the best decision! We ordered some starters with ham, cheese and much more. After that we ordered four special pizzas. Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, perfect chef and his crew. That was really great experience. We’ll recommend this restaurant, no questions! Super good pizza and dessert. The service was excellent!

I have conflicting emotions about this place. Let's start with the positive things. The staff was super kind, friendly and helpful, the products are of excellent quality, especially the cured meats. The pizza is very thin and in itself it wouldn't be a problem (if you look for the reviews you can immediately see that it's their trademark), the problem comes when it arrives with little toppings. I can't pay 12 to 16 euros for slightly more unique pizzas and find them almost empty, especially when it comes to cured meats, vegetables, etc. 16 euros for a pizza I can understand, I have already paid it in other places, however the pizza was definitely fuller. I left Egyptian still hungry despite the pizza. The place is unfortunately super hot. In summer I think it's absurd that such a famous place doesn't have a working air conditioner (they had it but it was turned off). With the heat it is, the fans are certainly not enough.

All is well. Good pizza, very large with fine dough and a good selection of craft beers; fast and very friendly service; Overall fair prices. Many locals eat there, an address not to be missed in the city of Genoa. However, remember to make a reservation as there may be a wait.

What can I say, kind, thoughtful, polite, they all work with a smile, now a rarity in terms of attitude towards the customer. I would go back to eat there even if they made horrible pizza but the pizza is STRATOSPHERIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the best pizza we ate in the Genoa area, really great, service at the highest level, you are not left unattended at the table despite the heavy traffic. I recommend it to anyone in the area Genoa is a must-visit place

Everything really delicious!!! The staff is young, kind, extremely helpful and they know how to treat the customer! The ingredients on the pizzas are truly the best! You must like very thin pizza... A format that has distinguished this pizzeria for years now. While waiting they delighted us with an appetizer to cheat our hunger and the place is in a fantastic position if you are on the beach or in the area for a walk along the sea. The only lack that in my opinion would be the best is an air conditioner inside the indoor room.... But the staff is so kind that they are transparent when booking and warn customers of this "lack" on extremely hot days.

Very friendly staff, delicious thin pizzas with a wide choice of classic pizzas and special pizzas. The desserts are also very good.
