La Pizza Del Roero In Montà

It's not a gourmet pizzeria, they don't make gourmet pizza, that's exactly why I give it 5 stars. I finally found a place that makes a regular pizza, like the ones I ate as a kid in old-school pizzerias. The crust is soft but doesn't take up half the pizza. The 4-cheese version has tons of cheese, especially Gorgonzola. I had onion added, and they probably had half a whole onion. Sure, €9 for the 4-cheese version and €10 for the one with onion isn't cheap for a takeout pizza in Montà, but it's still worth it a thousand times over compared to the gourmet junk with 20 grams of cheese and a crust that takes up half the pizza. I'll be back and I can't wait. The owner is also very kind.

Sensational pizza at a reasonable price. Perfect for a hotel room, especially in Montaña, where everything is unfortunately closed on Sunday evenings. It's a shame it's so far away; I'd love to be there weekly... 😋
