Nice atmosphere in the center, impossible to eat outside where it creates a sauna effect, much better inside and in the very characteristic upstairs room, polite staff, average food and prices.

The food is great. A little costly, however trying it would be an experience ☺️

The crostini was very good, well-balanced with salt and served with a very good porchetta; the oil wasn't bad either. As for the veal with green peppercorns, the meat was definitely medium-high, but the pepper overpowered its flavor. I understand the character of the dish, but about 25 peppercorns was perhaps a bit too much and ended up overpowering such a well-executed meat. The meat fell apart when you tried it, a sign of perfect roast cooking. Well done! The fixed-price menu option was much appreciated (a full fifteen euros). The atmosphere was calm and warm, and the service was quick and friendly. I was pleased to see the staff smiling and not dull or tired. The choice of having a fire lit at the end of May was interesting, but it really does create atmosphere 😀. A truly positive experience, definitely recommended!

Excellent little restaurant with tasty dishes

The restaurant features both an outdoor and a very large indoor space. The menu is typically Venetian and Friulian and is quite refined. The prices are reasonable for the location.

I arrived just before closing time, and they were extremely kind in welcoming me anyway. The kitchen staff stayed to serve me. This alone would be enough for someone looking for a welcoming and friendly place. I asked for a very simple spaghetti with garlic and oil, and I must say I was surprised by how good it was; it was anything but ordinary. The second courses were refined and very tasty. Generous/satisfying portions. Interesting wine selection.

La Piola is an authentic trattoria in the heart of Sacile where we enjoyed amazing tartare, flavorful tagliatelle with ragù, and truly perfect cotechino with mashed potatoes. Michela was incredibly kind, friendly, and fast, and the experience was excellent, thanks in part to the down-to-earth Neapolitan owner and his delightful wife. Highly recommended!
