It's a great place to grab a coffee or a sandwich and browse or buy a book. But not only that, because this little bookstore is always full of events. And Catia is super.

Meeting place where I can find books of all genres and for all ages, participate in meetings with authors, listen to musicians and even enjoy a good coffee or ginseng. There is also the possibility of purchasing excellent traditional Piedmontese products and much more. La Piola is managed by Catia, a welcoming, helpful, competent person who promotes many initiatives for the benefit of the inhabitants of the neighbourhood

24/05/2025: If you’re in the area, just go. You will not regret it. The food is first class. Simple, unfussy menu and they use genuine, fresh ingredients to produce classic Piedmontese dishes. Plus such a delightful setting. I cannot wait to return.

12/04/2025: Peccato che abbiamo scoperto questo locale a fine stagione invernale. La struttura è calda ed accogliente, arredata con stile montagna. Il menù è diversificato e soprattutto ben cucinato. Ottimi gli gnocchi ai formaggi e la girella di plin. Buona la pizza, così come i dolci. Proprietari e staff estremamente gentili e sorridenti. Difficili riscontrare tanta qualità e gentilezza in alta montagna! La prossima stagione ci recheremo spesso. CONSIGLIATO
20/02/2025: Ristorante/pizzeria proprio vicino alle piste di fondo di Pragelato. Locale informale, pizze e piatti buoni. Servizio attento e veloce, si fanno in quattro per trovarti sempre una sistemazione, ma meglio prenotare, soprattutto nei week-end.
